Such a fun pub. Whether you want a casual time with a friend, or hang out with a group, you can do both and not be bothered by another group doing the same. Professional quiz nights every Tuesday night makes it a great place to visit for food and drinks. They have great specials and currently it's the tower of beer plus a pizza for $35. Amazing value!

My new local, Empire Tavern is situated just out side the hustle and bustle of the city center but close enough to major transportation centers and bus stops so that last jug is always on the books. Electrical atmosphere especially when major sports showcases are being televised. Empire has two bars that you can choose to order from one in the main area and other one situated in their outside area.The food is always freshly prepared and they often run specials on different days of the week. My favorite is their 1Kg ribs and keg (3 liters) special. I'm always there with mates for a quick catch up and a cold one but is a perfect venue for causal work functions and team building events or for a mean feed and some refreshing beverages.

Lively atmosphere. The setup of the place was the best part. Service was good, food was ok. We ordered the $10 steak, fries and coleslaw with the purchase of a full priced drink. Margarita was average but the mango drink was awesome!

Great lunch deals.... steak was a bit fatty but still very much value for money. Good to go early as it gets very busy for dining at lunchtime

Great atmosphere & snappy service. Upstairs rooftop bar is lovely too - smaller & more intimate. There's happy hours, prize draws & sometimes free nibbled going round. Always fun.
