I visited the bar today for a team lunch. This used to be one of my favourite spots to stop in for a Friday lunch. Still has great pints on tap served by one of the best bartenders in NZ, but the food keeps getting worse and more expensive. They used to have beautiful chicken tacos for $19… then the recipe changed, then they pulled them off the menu, now the only tacos are $22 - and only fish tacos which are small and average. The staff are really lovely though and it’s a pleasure to stop in for a pint - they have nice bathrooms and play all the sports without bringing the ‘suited booted lads’ vibes. It’s clean and fresh feeling. Big fan of the Zeffer cider on tap
Awesome food, drinks and atmosphere! Highly recommend if you want to watch a game of footy or chill out with a beer. Special thanks to Rohan, he is awesome!
Highly recommend.nA great pub 1/2 way up College Hill which I’ve never noticed before nGreat atmosphere and recently redecorated.nI had pint of Emmerson’s Haze and Dazed with their Fish & Chips for lunch.nA great meal, everything tasted great! I will be back.
