Woolworths Dinsdale

Got my trolley locked in the middle of the exit door. Guy used a key fob of some sort to lock it. Most likely thought i stole and wanted to check my trolley out. Then he used the fob to unlock it. Pretty annoying as it blocked everyone from leaving. Maybe they should get their facts right and make sure before they go doing that crap. Especially since I've been a paying customer for years, and have never done anything of the sort. Make sure before you profile people.

Very convenient location but often find myself traveling to other countdowns purely because the parking is a nightmare at this store and trying to exit can take a long time and be dangerous getting onto Whatawhata Road. Veggie section not the greatest either, but there is a very good organic and gluten free area conveniently next to the wine that is amazing.

I have been a customer at Dinsdale Woolworths for 15years. I recently had a fall from a banana on the floor and twisted my knee at their supermarket, the staff at that time was very helpful called for the ambulance to get me out of there quickly. All these happened and nobody even thought of making a courtesy call from Woolworths Dinsdale to check on me. After I made a complaint call to their head office about the safety of customers and being so short staffed than the manager called to check on me and one other staff also called out of her own initiative. Now that I have to go for a knee surgery due to the fall I called again to ask for any other help from them, all I got was cheap flowers and a $20 gift voucher to feed my family and pay for the surcharges while I recover off work. So guys if you go to Dinsdale Woolworths be very careful because the customer safety and care is not there and if an accident happens than an act of kindness from them is also not there.

Good fresh produce, the store is cleaned and decently stocked. Good pricing compared to other super markets.

Always clean. Often not enough staff for the checkouts, and many older people seem more comfortable using a person, rather then self check out.
