I recently visited Woolworths Chartwell in Hamilton, NZ, and I was thoroughly impressed by their bakery section. As someone who enjoys fresh bread and baked goods, the moment I stepped into the bakery area, I was greeted by the irresistible scent of freshly baked bread and pastries. Bought some boned frozen lamb, advertised at 14.90 a kilo. Was 20.90. Was charged 20.90. When I complained they offered to refund the difference. I insisted on a refund and the goods. They tried to con me, but I got there in the end. Politely. They are liable to a fine of $250,000 for advertising one price and charging another, but I doubt the commerce department will do anything. Check your dockets people, these guys will rip you off if they can.

it's a nightmare to find something you they're forever changing the position of products, a ploy on the supermarkets part to force you to do more aisles than needed.npoor signage.nvery frustrating,

I had a worst experience in Chartwell countdown. I went with my baby and I asked lady in self checkout can I enter from here bcus I am with baby pram she said no and than I used other entrance there was a berrier and my baby got hurt and he was crying really badly. I want to talk to manager but no one helped me. I am going to emergency bcus after that my baby keep crying. I checked with other staff they said I am allow to enter from self check out with pram. Who is responsible for that incident I hope someone will contact me and take an action against that lady.

just walked into Woolworth's Chartwell to be racially profiled by a security guard.Following me in every isle i go in watching me to make sure i don't steal i was disgusted by this sort of behaviour, white people walked in and he didn't follow them he watched my every move as a brown person I've never felt so different ever never going here again.
