I have been living locally few years now so I qualify for this review.,nnThe shop is really good: they stock everything, prices are ok and great presentation.nnI cannot speak positively about the owner at the counter: incredibly rude, unpleasant, totally disengaged, watching his iPad or eating while “serving” you. The only time he speaks is with his family and in his own language was told he is Pakistani?.nnCustomer is no king there. I suspect they make so much money that they can’t be bothered with customer service. “Pay and get out without bothering us” . I totally minimise my shopping there as Rototuna Woolworths is 6 min drive from their shop.nShame because the shop itself is great. The next generation will take over one day; that old owner will never be missed.

Went into the store this morning to buy potatoes and biscuits. Potatoes were all green and two of the packets of biscuits were past the best before date. I took them to the counter and let him know. He look at me and said “don’t buy them then” I told him a wasn’t but I was just showing him so he knew. Very rude response. Make sure you check the best before date on anything you buy here !

Words cannot describe the foul smell that was in this store. Like something was dead. Specifically around the drink/frozen/meat section. When I opened the fridge to get my can of drink, a massive blow fly no exaggeration ,biggest blow fly I have seen flew into the fridge. I checked out the meat out of curiosity and it looked disgusting and off. Wouldn’t trust any meat or frozen food from here…To top it off, just checked my packet of chocolate bars and they’re expired…Too be honest I’m not even going to eat or drink what I purchased

Great person, owner very friendly and humble person

Poor customer service, very disappointing. He overcharged me for 2 separate items. I pointed out. He wasn't happy when I did it. After I asking for receipt, he’s getting irritated, and offering me return everything that I have already paid. It wasn’t the first time it happened. Every time I had question about their prices or ask for receipts, he’s always shown lack of patience. My understand this guy is the owner of the shop.
