Great to be greeted at reception by the owner. The room looks as though it has been recently refurbished, and was spotless. Yes, there is construction going on next door, but the double glazing works. Bed was great, plenty of room, linen was good quality, nice to be able to sit in chairs to watch TV. Good pub close by and an easy walk into town. I will book here again

Stayed here for 3 nights over a weekend. Clean and tidy rooms. Washing machine and dryer in the room, soap powder provided as well, all for no extra charge. Outside noise wasn't bad, we got to sleep quickly and slept all night. Really good price, can't complain there, have definitely paid more for much less including standard of rooms. Was a nice walk into town, not too far, and not right in the CBD so it was a good spot. Will definitely be staying here again in the future. No complaints.

Fabulous. Immaculately clean, spacious and well appointed room, a nice outdoor area, a welcoming but unintrusive host who was very thorough about servicing my room each day, and the place is surprisingly quiet for such a central location. Very good value. During this trip I also stayed at a 5 star hotel nearby for twice the price and found at nowhere near as nice.

Room was spotless on arrival and was cleaned everyday. Greeting from owner was great. Room was warm and quiet. Would happily stay again.

We stayed here for 3 nights recently. It was our 1st visit to Christchurch and didn't know what part of city to stay. The service was faultless, fresh towels everyday, easy check in and out. However the negatives for our room it had a wet room, great in an ideal situation but no shower curtain option to contain water from going everywhere as toilet quite close to shower. Tiles get very slippy so becareful. Vanity warped from steam and not designed for a bathroom. An extractor fan would be a good investment rather than having to open window which is direct on footpath. I would suggest if booking take room with bath tub option. Bed very firm, some may enjoy, as you can't please everyone. Fri and Sat night traffic non stop from boy racers and police sirens, we come from a City but after talking with people who knew the area they said Bealey is like that, especially weekends.

Stayed a couple of nights here while in Christchurch for a sports tournament. The big draw was the spa bath in the room. That was a great way to relax after a long day. The room was really nice, clean and had pretty much everything we needed. Free parking onsite parking is also a nice bonus. Check-in and check-out were smooth and painless.

Love Terra Vive Suites....always go there when in chch. Great staff, nice rooms, always clean. Love there spas
