Comfort Hotel Carlton Mill

What a perfect location. The rooms were super clean, crisp white sheets, pristine bathroom and well stocked beverage station with fridge and microwave. Very quiet Hotel with super helpful staff. The only downfall was that there was no AC but there was a very good table fan. Thank you Rooms: 5/5

We ended up here when diagnosed with COVID while on holidays from Australia and the staff and service has been exceptional. Room is a great size compared to other hotels we have stayed in at higher price brackets. Haven't been outside much to really comment on location but seems pretty central and great food near by. The Gnome feels like home and honestly covid or not we would come back. It's really fantastic value for money.

Good location. Walking distance to many restaurants and to the park, and possibly to the city centre if you're up for a 30min walk. Limited parking. Furnishing a little dated and worn. Kitchen was well equipped.

Clean rooms and looking from the outside through the window it looks good, but after you enter you find old and damaged furniture. The location is not extraordinary a lot of noise in the room due to the traffic. Arriving in the evening, the service was non-existent.Rooms: 3/5

Very short, We had booked in for 3 nights and shown a room on the 3rd floor where we had to carry our bags up the 3 flights of stairs. On inspection we were very disgusted at the cleanliness of the room. Firstly the door to the bathroom just about came of it's slider. secondly the toilet was soiled and the inner surround was moldy. Thirdly the shower tiles were ingrained with orange bacteria. The young lady in the reception was very helpful and we felt so sorry for her. We declined her offer of another room and asked for our money back. We certainly would not recommend this Motel to anyone.

Great base to stay. Walking distance to so many restaurants. Good off street parking and very limited traffic noise in rooms. Excellent staff attention even in these Covid times. Very well equipped rooms and very comfortable beds.

Excellent place. We got room 39 which has 2 double beds. Room was spacious however not so kids friendly tables/chairs. Downside is that desk service is only available from 12 to 7 pm. Location in great! Walking distance to basically all main central things.
