Colombo In The City

We stayed here for the night upon our arrival in Christchurch. It’s located on the CBD fringe, so it’s a nice walk into the CBD if you have time, but it’s also convenient 15 minute drive from the airport, with ample parking space. Our host was lovely, warm and welcoming, and our room was spacious and clean with a really soft, comfortable bed and hot showers. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend this motel.

The place was clean and tidy, spacious room, friendly reception. We did found the road busy, parking space a bit tight if you have a double cab ute. My husband found the bed to be a bit hard. Nearby activities: Nice place nearby for breakfast and it's a nice walk into the CBD.

A lovely motel on the very edge of Christchurch, walking distance into the city. The owners are lovely and the two storey apartments have everything. Great value!Rooms: 5/5

Room was spacious which was great as we were staying with our 7 month old son and we had lots of crawling space. On a plus note the arm chair was brilliant for breast feeding. Son also loved the spa bath and all 3 of us slept well. We also had a trailer and the owner was very accommodating allowing us to park it in a spare space.Rooms: 3/5

Immaculate, well maintained, great location. Our studio room had everything we needed and all was in good order. The owners were very accommodating. It would be my first choice when next in Christchurch.

Very nice place : Clean, hot water in the shower

An amazing place to stay, the staff are very professional and go over the top to meet our needs. We had four from our team staying there for a number of weeks. They even let our vehicle stay there while they were back at home. Definitely a great place in the city to stay.

Initially booked the room as I had seen reviews that it was brilliant..boy was I wrong. The room had an OVERWHELMING musty smell, to the point we couldn't get to sleep it was so strong. Gave us a headache. Room is MUCH smaller then advertised. Bed was comfortable that was probably the only good thing. There was no privacy being on the ground floor. As soon as I walked outside in the morning I breathed in the fresh air and it was amazing compared to what is in the room. They really need to air the rooms out. Found the lady at the front desk quite rude and judgemental. When checking out the old guy didn't ask us about our stay so here I am writing it on Google. Will NOT be staying here again. Do not recommend if you like fresh air.
