Really nice hotel in a perfect location to explore the city. We were staying as part of a group and our room was definitely the smaller of the 3 and a bit tighter. However, all the facilities were then and it was lovely decorated. The service of staff was pretty good when we had them. They do have no one behind the desk after 6, although they are easy to reach by phone. Overall we were only there 2 nights, but wish we could have stayed longer!

Clean, well laid out rooms, with all you need. The management is very responsive to requests and helpful, without being intrusive. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. The location is central and you can easily make your way around the central city, or you can catch the tram virtually at the hotel door. I would definitely stay here again!

A great location. Helpful, friendly staff note: not available out of normal working hours. Rooms compact, but okay. Bed comfy, but shower temperature varied wildly and water pressure poor; horrid, very uncomfortable. No breakfast available and cafe next door expensive.

My wife and I stayed here late January 2023 for 3 nights. The room was oddly shaped but quite pleasant and clean, the bed firm and comfy. The reception was attended by polite people, which is a nice change in these days of lockable key boxes and code entries. The shower had a couple of serious failings that let the hotel down. The floor did not appear to be graded correctly to the drain so that when one of us showered, the water ran out towards the rest of the bathroom, soaking the foot mat and causing the other of us to retreat to the bedroom to avoid wet feet. Additionally and more seriously the shower temperature fluctuated from cool to seriously scalding hot on the lowest temp setting. When I raised this with reception the finger was pointed at a pressure control in the street main, which didn't make sense to me as the water pressure at the showerhead didn't vary at all water jet did not pulse or vary in intensity. I can see others have commented on this so it is an ongoing safety issue that needs to be fixed.

In Chch for an overnight mid December. Hotel room was fine but what was really outstanding was the kindness and helpfulness of the receptionist.

Stayed for weekend 270 a night. The room was little bed the most uncomfortable I have slept I n bad sleep both nights. Come back through night guy cooking curry in microwave in hallway room . Wondered if it was permanent stay for homeless. For the money I would never stay again .Rooms: 2/5

Very central, with the tram running right through the complex. Underground parking available. Good for tourists.Rooms: 5/5

Only stayed for one night but the room was comfy and warm, service was very nice, and having a French press to make a proper coffee was unexpectedly good. Hotel seemed really charming overall – I’d have happily stayed longer.
