Extremely comfortable stay! We enjoyed the hospitality of Kimberley in particular who was so lovely and made sure we were comfortable in every way. The room was spacious and contained amenities required. We could even choose our pillows for the night and the hair straightener was such a nice touch. Breakfast which came with our room was at the Lane and really good. We will be back the next time we visit Christchurch.

Sam’s a keeper at the front desk! He made our one night stay , celebrating my birthday and our anniversary memorable through our interactions and conversations with him. It felt like he was an old friend! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The Moss spa excellent , especially Ingrid who went beyond the treatment with her advice on my frozen shoulder. The restaurant/ bar top notch with satisfying breakfast .

Fantastic staff. Polite, positive, helpful. The day, evening, and night teams were all top notch. Gym is a walk away but the payoff is that it is much larger and fully featured than other city hotel gyms. 24h access too.

What an amazing hotel. Great rooms, fantastic location, awesome restaurant and importantly - wonderful team members. I wanted to specifically call out Kim and Alanah. They both went over and above to make me feel welcome and helped me out with things to do in Christchurch. I will certainly be back. Thanks so much.

The staff are so helpful and friendly. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is enjoyable. The beds are so comfortable you sleep like a baby. We had dinner at their restaurant. We selected the trust the chef option. The 3 course meal was gorgeously delicious and the wait staff are friendly and attentive. Really enjoyed the experience and will stay there every time we visit. Loved it!

Our Luxe Twin Room on the third floor was below average in regards to cleanliness, particularly in the bathroom. Shower pressure was terrible. No shelving in beside the shower to put your own supplies. Not enough hooks in the bathroom for your clothing, or vanity space for your toiletries. Sheets were not long enough for one of the beds and stopped 3/4 of the way down. Staff were nice. Restaurant was lovely. Picture is of the hand basin plug. The toilet was equally as gross along the join where the lid meets the seat. My expectations after I had sent them an email in advance were not met. If you are fussy with hygiene, this is not the place for you.

Booked this due to it being 5 star, and the service was on point. However, the key thing is a good night sleep. Unfortunately, despite requesting a quiet room, I was put near the lift, there was no soundproofing in the door at all. Could hear low class families and couples talking loudly all the way to their rooms late at night on both nights.

My family spent 2 nights here for Christmas and it was a wonderful stay. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were modern and spacious, and the restaurant downstairs was superb. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Christchurch!Rooms: 5/5

Good stay and very convenient to the airport and reception can arrange for free pick up and transit to airport if needed. They got a fireplace in the lobby which is frequently occupied so would suggest getting there early to get that prime spot. Theres also a nice garden at the back and staff are attentive.

Great service. Some of the best we've had on our trip. Nice rooms well appointed. Restaurant downstairs had good food.Rooms: 5/5
