Camelot Motor Lodge

Fantastic experience from start to finish. We stayed about a week and a half while we were moving in between places. The staff was all wonderful, working with our unsure move-out date, checking in when they saw us to make sure everything was great. The location is perfect, the room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of heat, plenty of windows to open for a good breeze. Water pressure is fantastic and hot, kitchen was adequately stocked with appliances, dishes and cookware. Perfect for a family moving to the country who needed a place for a little over a week! Thanks, will recommend!

Booked primarily because of another family member staying there. Staff are great. Rooms and rates were great. No complaints, we are not fussy. Warm room, hot shower, clean towels, spa,pool, laundry, sky TV. All the creature comforts away from home. Great location. Will def save this place for our next visit. We'll done Camelot Motor Lodge! Rooms: Rooms larger than expected one bedroom Nearby activities: Hagley Park...walk or run. E scooters everywhere. Safety: Access in and out of Motel good. Road crossing is good. General Motel safety was not a concern. We felt very safe. Walkability: Directly across the road. Petrol station, Liquor Store, pizza, burger king, coffee, steakhouse..close proximity to good afew stores. But not supermarket.

Place looks cool, staff are friendly and helpful. 24hr laundry but the motel also use these facilities, good size pool, parking is a bit awkward due to layout and not allocated, but there's enough to around. Laundry is $2 for both dryer and washer. Unfortunately, we weren't impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms but we didn't complain. The staff are lovely but unfortunately I wouldn't stay again.

We have stayed here three times - every time we come to Christchurch the Camelot is our go to. Chris is an outstanding host! Our latest visit he knew we were arriving late, we arrived to the curtains closed, the lights and heaters turned on and even popped over the road and bought us milk, knowing we had three children in tow that would need breakfast in the morning. We will keep coming back every time! Great value for money, units are well equipped with full size kitchens, baths and even the two bedroom units are big enough for the children to not go stir crazy. Good value for money Christchurch city motel in a good location on Papanui Road handy to all essential amenities.Rooms: 5/5

Tidy but interiors need revamping. Very old. Good location and great staff.
