Absolute gem of a place. The newly refurbished rooms are very tasteful in the age-appropriate decor and are very comfortable. The bed is excellent and we got a great night sleep. Great location, close to a few great restaurants and cafes and town centre is nearby. Would definitely stay again.Rooms: 5/5

We love this hotel! From the Tudor setting, the spacious 2 bedroom apartment, the restaurant breakfast and dinner. Most imptly the staff service is top notch. They are prompt and always serve us with a smile, even when they are quite busy. It is also near very nice restaurants/cafes nearby.

Fantastic service! I wish I had remembered the names of the wonderful girl with long blonde hair and maybe the male manager? I stayed over due to canceled flight and had a little anxiety staying alone getting scared being in a dark area of the property. They kindly moved me to 3 different rooms untill I felt safe and calm to relax! They were so accommodating and lovely. The room was great, warm and cozy. Bed was big and comfortable. They offer lots of lovely bathroom and beauty things, and everything else you would need for your stay! I’m sorry I can’t remember your names but thank you for being so great! Best hotel service I’ve had.

Hotel reception staff very friendly. Whilst the room was clean, the bed was uncomfortable, room needs updating and fridge door didn't shut properly. The safe was not attached to the wall and inaccessible to use anyway. The restaurant was poor, it was empty except for our party that should have warned me. The food was awful and they refused to serve desert to our grandchildren as it was 5 past nine and the food stopped serving at 9. There were no other customers and they only wanted some ice cream. The meal was very expensive for what we were served. I did inform the hotel reception staff who whilst they did apologise for our experience , no recompense was offered. Wouldn't go to this particular hotel again.

What a stunning transformation of the rooms and reception area! Simply beautiful. The staff were super helpful and happy - obviously very proud of the product they have on offer - and rightly so!Rooms: 5/5

Room excellent and clean swimming pool area poor ,dirty tables and chairs rubbish blowing around. Website advised BBQ grills notice on gate to pool area advised to ask to use at office which we did took 20min to get answer that we could seemed very reluctant for us to use them seems they wanted us to eat at restaurant.Had brought BBQ food to cook as above website advised BBQ available, were told by reception could use if we were guest which we were but had no cleaning materials or tools to give us , the one BBQ we used was very dirty the other one so rusted falling apart, also if we wanted plates to borrow from hotel we couldn't had to go to local supermarket to buy cleaning materials and BBQ tools also disposable plates and knifes and forks every other Accomdation we have stayed in supply tools , BBQ cleaner and happy to let you borrow plates. Poor service for guest staying 2 nights. Outdoor areas need tidying around entrances to rooms and definitely around pool area. Rooms well refurbished but service has let us down.

It was an average stay beds were comfortable. When we arrived our room wasn’t cleaned properly and when we requested fresh towels that weren’t in the room when we arrived. We were given stained and damp towels. Very disappointed with the service. We also turned on our bathroom fan on and it was broken making an extremely loud noise when we tried to turn it off it wouldn’t work so we had to deal with this loud banging for 30 minutes before it stopped. When we complained we got no sort of compensation either!

Was met at reception by a very helpful lady named Hunar. She helped me with ALL my requirements. I am a tour coach driver and had a coach to park somewhere. Hunar pointed to where to park and even got another guest to move thier car. I was then pointed in the direction of my room. Then....off to the restaurant where I was met by 2 great staff members named Krista and Jess. Again...very helpful with my meal...explaining my options and even cracked a joke. They then pointed me in the direction of my table and I awaited my meal. Thanks very much girls..I will pass the word around for you.

Beautiful hotel with lots of history. Had a few problems with tv but other than that loved our stay.
