Admiral Motel

This was a great place to spend a couple of days exploring Christchurch from. Walkable to the centre, but far enough out that you aren't paying the silly central prices! We had a one bed apartment and it was huge! Kitchen had equipment to cook with as well as a fridge and freezer. I had an issue with booking online on my phone, and ended up calling to book. Rose was lovely and booked me in, and then remembered me when I arrived! Such a warm welcome from a woman who just wants to help and make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. She and Terry made us feel so welcome. Thank you!

The Admiral was a great place to stay. The lady at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. The room was very clean and it was spacious and had a full kitchen. I felt like I had my own little apartment. The location was also nice. It was only a 15-20 minute walk to the Riverside Market downtown. All of this for a great price too. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are spending time in Christchurch.

Great motel, good location & fantastic helpful and sweet host, Rose. We stayed at Admiral Hotel for 5 days and enjoyed every minute of it. It’s very clean and nice rooms with everything you need; big kitchen with supplies, nice bed and great shower. The hotel is located near city center and only takes 10-15 minutes walk. But the best thing about this hotel is the owner Rose. She is the much loving women, who did everything in her power to let us have the best vacation ever! From we stepped into her motel we felt at home. And even her husband Terry, showed us great hospitality. We can’t thank them enough. All our best recommendations to Admiral Hotel!

Highly recommended! I felt very comfortable and safe at Admiral motel. I stayed by myself but this motel is definitely couple/family friendly. It’s about a 15min walk to the central city and about 20min drive to the airport. Thank you so much to the lovely host Rose and Terry who looked after me very well during my stay. Kia Ora!!

A 20 minute walk to Cathedral Square, so probably the best value accommodation this central. Although that does mean traffic noise. An older, dated motel but everything worked and was clean. The rooms were a good size. Family run, and the owners could not be more friendly or helpful. Walkability: 20 minutes walk to Cathedral Square.

Great place to stay! My partner and I stayed for a week, and will definitely be staying again. Stunning location, short walk to the shops and best spots in nelson. Rooms are beautiful and very affordable for the quality. They took amazing care of us, the service from when we first walked into reception, to when we left was nothing less than excellent. Whenever you are visiting nelson, owners Kelly and Fraser, and the staff at the Admirals Motor Inn, can provide you with a comfortable stay. :

Rose was incredibly friendly and hospitable going above and beyond to assist us, even driving us to the railway station early in the morning on two occasions and picking us up once from our adventure. Thanks for making our trip so memorable and we wish you every success!

Great location. It was clean and the price was very reasonable. Walking distance to town centre. I had no problem carrying my shopping walking to and back from PaknSave. The owner Rose was very friendly too.

My daughter and I had adjacent rooms the night of a concert at the arena to avoid drink driving. Terry and Rose were great hosts and even drove us there. Rooms were spotlessly clean and everything we could hope for. We will definitely be back for the next concert we go to.Rooms: 5/5
