Crowne Plaza Hotel Christchurch

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Crowne Plaza Christchurch and I must say, it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality. The hotel itself is one of the nicest I have come across in the South Island. Its central location makes it incredibly convenient for exploring the city, and the modern and sophisticated design adds a touch of elegance to the overall ambiance. The room I stayed in was exceptional. Not only was it impeccably clean, but the attention to detail in the decor and furnishings created a truly inviting and comfortable space. I found myself instantly at ease, able to unwind and relax after a long day of exploring. However, what truly sets the Crowne Plaza Christchurch apart is its staff. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of perfect. From the front desk to the housekeeping staff, everyone was friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request or inquiry. Overall, I cannot recommend the Crowne Plaza Christchurch enough. Whether you're visiting for business or pleasure, this hotel offers a level of service and comfort that is truly exceptional. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Christchurch.

One of the best experiences we've had at a hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable and the service was outstanding. Every single staff member we interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The continental breakfast was great, and having the option to Chromecast your own media to your TV was also a huge bonus. We'll definitely be staying with Crowne Plaza again in the future!

STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE Breakfast was included but it was absolutely sloppy, cold and nasty. Plus they make you pay for a decent coffee unless you want to drink watery coffee in a vat that tastes like dirty pond water. I have never stayed in a hotel that makes you pay for a decent coffee as part of breakfast and I travel regularly.

Nice hotel, great bed but having the room heating regularly switch off by its self whilst you're in the room drove me nuts. If they are so keen to save energy they should put in coin in the slot heating, at least then you will know when its going to get cold. Not the standard i would have expected from a Crowne Plaza hotelService: 5/5

Very pleasantly surprised! The rooms are very, very nice! The staff is pleasant and helpful. We spent almost a week here and really enjoyed our stay. When we come back, we will definitely stay here!Rooms: 5/5

The hotel is very nice. We stayed here twice, the customer service is good. We had a small issue with the room next to us, but they helped resolve it quickly. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. They offer a buffet breakfast in their restaurant which can get very busy. Parking is next door and $25 per day, uncovered and largely unsecured. I'd stay here again for the central and convenient location.

Will definitely not be staying here again. The temperature in the room is set and you can't change it unless you contact reception each time. There is no carpet in the restaurant so when there's a noise crowd like there was we had to eat our meal fast and leave. The windows were dirty and not nice to look out of while eating dinner. First three days we were there the scrambled eggs were cooked lovley the rest of our stay they were sloppy and undercooked. No chair in room to sit on and we had the executive suite unless you wanted an office chair. For what we paid there are way better options out there and will never stay here again based on the fact the staff not communicating properly.

A perfectly located hotel in the heart of Christ Church. It is in walking distance of everything, downtown and the botanical gardens. Lots of restaurants. Things to do. Theaters things to see the rooms are really nice. The hotel lobby is large and spacious. They have a generous happy hour and the staff is fantastic.Rooms: 5/5
