Terra Viva Cafe

Excellent place. We went at lunch time and it was packed. We had to wait for 30 minutes for our food. But it was worth the wait. My Monkfish and leak pie with Kumara mash was amazing. One of the best pies I have ever had.nExcellent seating on the outdoor and indoors.nHuge exotic menu. Loved the place. Plenty of parking available. The staff is super friendly and courteous.nHappily go there again on my next visit.

While the food is good, it is just not worth the overlong wait to receive it. On ordering we were told that there was a thirty minute wait that actually turned into forty minutes. This is far too long to keep hungry customers waiting, especially after being told that there is a time limit on your booking. If your aim is a faster table turnaround, I suggest you aim at much quicker order fulfillment. We could have eaten our lunch in about the same time as we waited to receive it.

Really nice brekkie with eggs on toast. Poached perfectly and the bread was fresh. The staff were super friendly. It’s busy in there and relatively pricey but not too much.nnThe atmosphere makes it great for catch-up with friends

Egg Benedict no spinach. Bacon is dry. Good coffee. Good service, staff are friendly.
