Honestly I think I’m boycotting every other cafe in Christchurch after this.nnAbsolute weaponry here. Outstanding French toast with apple cinnamon, strawberry compote, whipped ricotta, maple syrup, grilled bananas, and bacon. For only 26.nAnd lemme tell you I’ve had some French toast in my time and this is the best breakfast one I’ve had. Dunno what it is about it but boy howdy by golly gee whizz it worked.nnAbsolutely hat and wig off to the chefs and the lovely lady at the counter, and also lemme tell you probably the best chai latte I’ve found, and I love a chai. Plenty of foam, cinnamon, fast service for everything, plenty room, lovely decor and feel.nn15/10 for brunch. So coming back to try eggs Bennie and the fried chicken burger.

A hidden gem. I really enjoyed the food and the innovative drinks. Definitely try it. A little pricey but worth it I think.

Read the reviews before coming here, was hyped for the French Toast. Wasn’t bad at all but was far from what the reviews led me to believe. Still has an award from 2015 on the front door? A little pricy for what you get. All in all not bad but not outstanding, probably wouldn’t return again.

Surprisingly nice spot! Very cosy inside and friendly staff. Good prices. We had the chicken burger + fries and loaded fries and both were very tasty. One thing to improve on: the fries could have been a bit crispier! They were quite soggy even the ones that were not loaded ;.

I have owned a business next door to Dose for more than 4 years. I do not want to calculate how much I have spent. Every $ on staff and customers has been worthwhile. Great tucker & the Dose staff are wonderful.nSimon ElphicknSpeedy Signs Riccarton
