This is the place!!!! Hands the best smashed avo around!nnI ordered the smashed avocado with poached eggs and a side of bacon and a trim triple shot flat white.nnWhat can I say except, AMAZING!nnWhat makes their smashed avo the best you may ask... ripe, big portion, well seasoned, topped with toasted sesame and pumkin seeds with a drizzle of pesto on thick warm toasted pieces of sourdough. The side of bacon was a an abolsute slap in the face in depth of flavour to accompany that pesto... the coffee alone is worth visiting.nnDon't even get me started on the cabinet food we took away for our hike into the port hills! Blueberry chocolate muffins freshly baked that morning, savoury scone with that buttery doughy like consistency. When we're back down from Auckland I'm ordering one smashed avo for dining in and one for takeaway!nnThanks Team!
Superb! Everything we asked for was scrumptious . Portions are filling, well cooked and tasty. They are quite busy all the time but Service is really quick and efficient .nLocation is central very close to the riversidenMarket 5-6 blocksn10/10.
Lovely ambience, ordered smoothie, flat white coconut milk coffee, eggs on toast. The only thing about the food were the eggs I asked for medium poached but got fully cooked. Friendly hostess, staff are attentive, great service. I would go back there again. Best coffee
Incredible place, stunning. The girls on floor were quick and polite and did an incredible job of clearing while also serving. We had a great time, service was so quick. Our food was fabulous and always a great experience here. We haven’t been in a while until today, and it never misses. Great prices for the amount of food too, thanks to the unknown chapter team for a great experience, we’ll definitely be back. :
Always an enjoyable trip to the Unknown Chapter, the food, coffee and service are excellent. The only downside for me is that the acoustics of the room do make it very loud, and for somebody who is hard of hearing, it does make conversation difficult, but this should not stop anybody visiting
