Under the red Verandah Restaurant is an amazing breakfast spot. The location is beautiful, surrounded by lush trees and a charming setup that creates a relaxing atmosphere. Parking is ample and convenient. They offer excellent gluten-free options— the GF bread breakfast is the best I've had. It was well-cooked, delicious, and vegetarian-friendly. If you're in Christchurch and need a great place for breakfast, I definitely recommend this restaurant. You won't be disappointed!

This is honestly one of the best cafés in Christchurch. Everything we ordered was amazing—fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. The coffee was also really, really good!nnWhat impressed me most is that even with rising food prices these days, they still manage to keep both the quality and portion sizes at a high level. As someone who goes to cafés a lot, I’ve noticed many places have dropped in quality, but not this one. Their prices are similar to other cafés, but the food here is way more generous and well-made.nnAnd I have to say—the staff were all incredibly warm and friendly. Every single one of them made us feel so welcome.nnHuge thanks to the chef and the whole team for such a lovely experience. I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll be telling my friends to check it out too!

Our first time visit. We sat in the garden, they have blankets available.nnGreat café. Really cute decorations and sense of humor photos of the staff. Really funny.nnTheir cabinet food looks really good.nnCoffee were so good, food was really nice. Love their service for little one. Definitely will. Visit again next time we come to christchurch.

Don’t know where to start from .. this place was extremely unbelievable. The food is so good we couldn’t stop our self to Order again. I can confidently say one of the best breakfast I ever have in New Zealand.

This place is absolutely sensational. Breakfast this morning on our first day in NZ from Australia. We've been here a few times and never ever disappoints. Thanks heaps to Amy especially and the rest of the team for once again a great experience. We'll be back for sure. Phil and Karen
