Daydream Café

Big breakfast comes in 2 sizes full & half. Full size was the largest I have experienced in Christchurch and filled the entire plate. Food was delicious, well seasoned, and homemade style no soggy watties hash browns etc. Service was average and atmosphere a little sterile but the food makes up for this in abundance. Top tier big breakfast in Christchurch.

What a wee gem this place is! Was quite busy good to see! when we popped for a coffee and some lolly cake, the room is nice and light and open, with lots of lovely green indoor plants. They sell bags of coffee, gifts and even books! The staff were very friendly and while we didn't order anything off the menu, the food i saw coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic. Most importantly, the coffee was great! Definitely recommend Daydream Cafe.

I have to say I love this chicken burger, such fantastic! And also pretty blueberry smoothie, special satay chicken skewers, strongly recommend. My friends and I all enjoy this nice meal. We will definitely come back to this lovely place.

Lovely little place. Staff are very friendly and asked how our food was.nnThe Oreo Swiss roll was perfect, the Toasted Sandwich was lovely and cheesy, and came with a nice salad. The chicken Katsu sandwich was one of the juiciest chicken sandwiches I’ve had.nnOnly disappointment was the milkshake, it was a nice consistency but had almost no flavour.nnOtherwise a very lovely place with nice people

This is one of my favourite cafes in Christchurch. The atmosphere, service, coffee and food are fantastic! This cafe provides a light, airy, sunny, plant-filled space to enjoy exceptional coffee and delicious food. I also love the plants and books for sale. A visit to Daydream Cafe has now become a regular treat.
