Coffee Culture Redwood

Had a nice coffee to take away on my way to another event. We probably weren't the target demographic being a solid 30 years or so younger than than the average patron, but the team was good and friendly.

A cool diner/ cafe. We stopped for breakfast on our day 1 of New Zealand trip.nHad BLT & chicken bagels, which were crispy along with Choffee their version of mocha _ CHOcalate + coFFEEnHad few veg items like Halloumi fritters and Moroccan roll- these were good too. Sophie took out order & served our long order with a smile :

Yes.. Mum's do do it all... I brought my mum, a war veteran, to coffee culture, Redwood, this week, to sit in the warm, with a reasonable cup of coffee. I left her in there whilst I went across the road to collect my car after its WOF.nI ordered her the largest coffee. It came served in a giant takeaway cup with a lid. They don't serve this size in a ceramic cup!nSitting in a booth, minding her own business, reading a book, waiting for me, when an entitled young woman customer told her that she shouldn't be sitting in a booth as she must have paid for a takeaway coffee in a takeaway cup therefore she should be outside drinking her coffee, in the cold wintery weather, not taking up space in a booth when she and her mates should be sitting there!nYes! If these are the clients that coffee culture attracts, then we'll take muffin break any day of the week.

Just had the best bagel salmon I've ever had with a phenomenal coffee on a cold rainy day. Just the perfect lunch with great atmosphere and friendly staff.
