SOHO Hotel Auckland

Beautiful hotel. The room was nice, clean, and well designed. Bed was very comfortable. Very luxurious hotel and still affordable.nnThe ladies at the reception were really nice and accommodating. Asked for ice, and they were able to give us ice. Unfortunately, they weren't able to lend us a bottle opener for our beers, and they told us that there should be one in our room, which there was not.nnCheck-in and check-out were easy and hassle free. Lots of free and paid parking in and around the area.nnLocation-wise is not good. We felt unsafe walking around at night to get food and drinks.

Rooms were of a lovely standard with lots of nice extra touches like Nespresso machine, auto blinds, balcony, large shower etc. Clean and comfortable.nGood price for the quality of accommodation.nWill be back for sure. I believe they are opening a spa later this year.

Hotel is all good - rooms are ok, however if you are on the wing facing to motorway you won’t have wifi connection/access to chrome as because it doesn’t reach according to the front desk - they did however attempt to fix it in a fairly quick fashion but the issue with connection wasnt able to be remedied! Instead, we were offered complementary breakfast which was nice. Breakfast was all good - average, good selection of hot and cold. Staff are nice and accommodating!nnRooms are nice and spacious, there are some cosmetic damages already though like wallpaper peeling. Scuffs on corner of hallways, skirting’s, paint coming off, carpets in the hallways are a tripping hazard in my opinion. Swipe cards don’t always work to get to the basement.nnOverall was a pretty good experience but it’s the little things that really take an experience from good to amazing!

Recently we hosted a birthday event at Soho, Honestly, everything was just amazing!nnThe setup was beautiful, the food was a big hit with all the guests, and the overall vibe was just perfect. A huge shoutout to all of Soho staff especially Eve and Rohan, who were super helpful and supportive throughout. They made sure everything ran smoothly, kept us updated, and really took care of all the guests. Soho has a great team!nnAnd a super thanks to Monique, from the time we booked the venue to the event day, Monique made everything so simple and easy for us. We really appreciate all the help and support we got.nThanks again for making our event so special., we’ll always remember it!

We were there for 10mins and decided not to stay and asked to be refunded.The pictures look NOTHING like the rooms. Our room was huge but for a new hotel it looks very old and definitely not 4.5 star quality. The furniture was stained and looked dirty. Disappointing. Room didn't look cleaned completely. The basement was flooded and wet and soggy with towels all over the entrance. Sorry we won't be back or recommend.
