Holly Molly this place is expensive!! I want to say its a rip. They are packed from end to end with 2nd hand clothes and shoes, these are not at second hand prices. Shoes are half price on what youd pay full retail. There was a pair of heels $50.00, there all similar or half of wat full retail wouldv been. Ive added some photos, i wish i got more. They must be making an absolute killing. If your looking to save at save mart, your unfortunately not saving much here. The denim jacket in the picture is $49.95 it's not a label brand & this is 2nd hand & dated. The shorts are $24.95 they are warn & basic & I could get a brand new pair for that price in town.. it so sad to see these business that most often get all these clothes for free from clothing bins & sell them at premium prices. Its pretty sad.
used clothes in tiny or huge size for more $$$$$ than you expect. imagine buying clothes from these dudes many items they probably got for free in NZ, then selling them back to NZers and sending the profit to?nn
We always drop off our pre-loved clothing in good condition at Save Mart. These folk do such a great job at serving local community. As a business they provide a great service for preloved clothes. Note some reviews saying expensive... sure, but but so are good bargains. Recycling clothes is a great concept and a good way of getting rid of overstuffed home cupboards. If you are doing a new year cleanout of your clothes, do think of donating to this store. Remember only clothes that you would still be happy to wear yourself, not the old tatters!!! :-. One comment, hence my three-star rating..... if someone takes the time to sort through their clothes, wash and iron and deliver to Savemart, shop policy should be to be friendly and supportive of people who have taken the time to do so. Found the person who 'directed' us to drop-off a tad rude and unwelcoming. The business model is one-off recycling old clothing for profit, so excellent customer and client services should surely be a top priority? A bit of friendliness and appreciation would go a far way. When you acknowledge the time, energy, and resources someone has put into a task, it shows that you don’t take their efforts for granted. The alternative is to simply say, not worth the effort, and to cut up clothing for good old reusable rags...
Expensive. Charging $30 for Nike drifit shorts really close to retail prices. Not like it used to be. Jackets up to $80nnNo trolleys which isn’t helpful for mothers or people shopping for a lot.nnNo paywave. No cash. Not sure why but that’s not very convenient.nnI feel like whoever is now managing this store isn’t very good at thinking about how to please shoppers
Too much price for the second hand used clothing. I don't find any justification of such abnormal pricing. It's better to buy brand new one. Lots of parking facilities, but don't find any toilet for customer's use.
