Regal Palms 5 Star City Resort

The staff here are awesome and helpful. The resort homes are a little dated since it's an older build but everything is clean and well run which is the important thing. In the family fun area the arcade could use a little work, some of the arcade games just aren't working but the pool area and water slide was the source of endless fun for our granddaughters. This was the third vacation we spent at the Regal and I won't hesitate to book it again as the price is very reasonable. Where else can you rent a 3 bedroom townhouse for under a hundred bucks a night?

We rented 4 units here. This place is managed by multiple management companies. Know who you are renting from before you go. It can be confusing who to call for what. Overall the units have ample space and are pretty well maintained. They need to clean the living room furniture. Sofa and chairs were dirty. Not recent use dirty, like years of not being cleaned dirty. We had units 2836, 2846, 2919, 2908. The AC went out in one unit, but given credit they quickly moved us to another unit close by. However, the previous renters didn't follow the trash collection guidelines at any of our units, and we never really got the trash consistently picked up even though they have daily trash pick up so this meant the flies were really bad. Kids enjoyed the pool area, arcade and the restaurant. People were nice, most things were clean. If it weren't for the trash they could get 5 stars . Especially for the price.

We just stayed 6 nights at regal palms. Overall, it was a great experience! We got the 4 bed 4 bath home and it was GORGEOUS and HUGE! 7 of us stayed there and there was plenty of room. The staff were nice. When we needed maintenance they came quickly. I loved the room key waterproof bands, it was easy to keep track of. The house came with some basic necessities dishes, utensils, cups, pans, etc. but we did need to buy some basic things to fill in the gaps. Though our house was nice, we did have a broken dryer that was to be replaced but wasn’t while we were there could be because of Hurricane Nicole. Due to this, we couldn’t get any of our clothes or towels washed. In the middle of our stay, they shut down all resort amenities due to the hurricane, and we never received any reimbursement of resort fees as we weren’t able to use them. The pool looks bigger in the photos but it’s really nice and has great staff. The water slide was a lot of fun but the lighting at night for the stairs was nonexistent and dark. It was very concerning. We originally only booked 5 nights through Westgate not wanting to pay resort fees for extra days with early and late night flights leaving us unable to actually use the resort. When we found out of flight times, we tried to extend our stay a night before and after our stay. We encountered many issues to do this as regal palms doesn’t rent themselves, it’s another company. Throughout this entire process, it was hard to navigate some issues as we had to contact a third party for maintenance and needing to extend our stay. We did have some backyard friends, one being a very up-close and personal raccoon that if it hadn’t been for our door being closed, he would have come in. We named him Rocky because he came back every night. Overall, even with the bumps that we encountered, we would stay there again.

The property my is well maintained. It’s also gated which is appreciated. The pool area is fantastic. Love the lazy river and how, the water slide and the shallow area for the little ones. There’s so much pool space that even at the busy times there’s always more than enough room to swim and enjoy yourself. The hot tub usually has room as well. The tiki bar is great for the adults. Plenty of beach activities as well to play in the sand area. The arcade is great for the kids, tons of fun newer games. And the food at the restaurant is always good!

This is my family's second stay at this resort, with a 5 year gap. Our first stay was 5 star, the unit we had was clean, well accommodated and maintained. The resort accommodations were great. This visit, the unit we stay in, was filthy, top to bottom. The bathrooms had dead bugs on the floor in corners, the rugs needed cleaning, the light fixtures had a heavy layer of dust on them. There was insufficient cookware, supplies.. The front door did not fully close, there is a locked cover on the thermostat..not cool enough in the day and freezing at night. This is the last time we will stay there.

Overall stay and experience was great. The options and activities available were great. Aquatic pavilion and arcade exceeded expectations and were beautiful. The staff at the front desk were nice,especially Mirabel. She went above and beyond even when I had to come back multiple times trying to get in touch with the property manager that never contacted me back once. Checked in on Saturday and the trash bin in the back had not been emptied, was completely full and so we had nowhere to put our trash until sometime Monday. The flies were horrendous and kept getting into the house every time a door was opened. Flies, raccoons and lizards were present and felt it needed to be updated a bit but the overall experience and stay was nice and quiet. Actually about 26 minutes to Disney

This place was really nice, but the cleaning service they hire is really bad. Crumbs left on the kitchen table, floor not mopped immediately got dirty feet, and ants everywhere, moldy shower curtains, dirty dishes, etc. We called about all the issues and the only thing that got immediately taken care of was the ants, which we were grateful for. Nobody ever came back to clean. We definitely left this place cleaner than we arrived. There were also some very bold and unwanted visitors at night digging in the trash. Speaking of the trash, the people before us did not take theirs out properly and was never taken by the trash company. I guess they refuse to take it if it's loose or left in small bags? Stupid. And we almost got blamed and charged for someone else's oversights. Overall, I think this place doesn't have enough staff to maintain, but the home and community is nice albeit a bit outdated. We also were there early for check in at about 2:30pm. Check in is at 4pm but our house wasn't ready until almost 6pm. That was very frustrating, and we were offered no comps at all for the inconvenience. We will not be back due to too many inconveniences and having to call the front desk with issues on cleanliness with little to no success on a solution. Nearby activities: They have a pool with waterside and lazy river included with the resort. Looked well taken care of. No innertubes available, so buy some before you go. They will charge you like $20 a tube.

I just love this pool area. The pool area is extremely nice. Front desk is nice and accommodating. Timeshare townhouses are in the back so it is a distance from the pool area and a distance from check in. Maybe a 9 minute walk depending. And timeshare units are ready around 4:30. Don't expect to be able to check in early or right at 4. These units seem to be rented back to back. Popular. Bar/restaurant staff are nice and accommodating. Pizza was great. Drinks are tasty. Pool is not 24 hours. I think they close it down at 11. Kids loved the slide that dropped them in to the pool. There was a lot of seating in the pool area so plenty of room. The townhouse is slightly outdated but not enough to give it a 4. So I gave it a 5 for the "room". Very comfy and homey. Visited a couple of days after the hurricane and the place looked like a hurricane never hit. Staff is on it. Publix is right down the road practically walking distance and Wal-Mart is close by too. Overall I gotta give this place 5 stars. Too much good stuff going on.

Fun place for the family. Spacious units, fun amenities. We really enjoyed the pool. Our unit was perfect for cooking quick meals while we were there. Checking in and out was easy.Rooms: 5/5

Was absolutely amazing! The house was clean, comfortable, and suited our family perfectly. They had everything we needed for our stay. The amenities were fabulous!!! The pool, lazy river, waterslide, everything. The landscaping was beautiful. Definitely recommend this place to stay at. And the location was great too. Everything you need literally in walking distance!
