Fantasic service and facilities. Will definitely return. Staff were amazing. Rooms were amazing. You get treated like royalty. Quite possibly the best experience ive had in a hotel/accommodation ever.Rooms: 5/5

We had a lovely stay at the Black Swan Hotel this week. The grounds are beautiful and we made use of one of the two spas in the grotto. The team of Kym, Andrew and Iri did their best to make sure we had a wonderful stay. Dinner was excellent and the food was of top restaurant quality. Only issue is that the lake front guest room we stay in was directly next to reception.

I can not stop saying How wonderful was our little getaway to this boutique. Please don't think twice about making a booking here, the view of the lake, the private and uniqueness of this place will make you want to stay for a while. Clean and tidy rooms, with breakfast included and the best pancakes. Kym the hotel manager was top of the notch, she took care of us and made sure that we had an amazing experience. Thank you

Kym was quick to arrive at reception and just lovely. Showed me around the hotel and left me to relax. Room was beautiful and stunning view over the lake. Very comfortable bed and great shower pressure. Breakfast was yum and plentiful. A real treat to stay here.

A+++ The most beautiful little boutique in Rotorua! Not only was the food amazing by the chef but the service by Kym was memorable. The rooms were beautiful, quiet and clean and the staff were friendly, kind and extremely accommodating! Although there were others staying at the Black Swan when we did, we had A class service with a personal chef cooking our 3 course dinner and breakfast, as if we were alone. I would highly recommend this place to stay for a night or two. You will not be disappointed!

The location is lovely, with gorgeous views of the sky and lake from a relaxing garden. Service was top-notch, with the manager actually making a vegan muesli and having excellent oat milk available at breakfast. Where it really drops the ball is in ventilation. Our rooms would stink horribly if the ACs were off. Couldn't open the window because the bins were right outside and the door because of the trout flies with management notices about keeping the door closed because of the flies posted on the door. The mustiness in the bathroom even with the fan and towel rails on for hours was disgusting. This is a basic thing never mind the price point and it almost ruined our holiday. Fortunately the garden and Rotorua have a lot to offer. We had a wonderful time outside.

Beautiful little hotel with stunning views, great service and wonderful attention to detail. We didnt want to leave! Everything was so well thought out to make your stay enjoyable. Particularly loved the spa pool outside with the gorgeous view out over the lake. Thanks so much for making our stay there so fantastic! We will return Rooms: 5/5

We had an amazing 2 night stay at The Black Swan . We stayed in a beautiful poolside room, which was interconnected to the room next door for our family, and it was all just so luxurious and lived up to everything we had hoped it would be! Arthur was friendly and welcoming and accommodated our request for a slightly earlier breakfast on one of our mornings. The beds were very comfortable and the views are spectacular. The spa pool was fabulous too!
