we were supposed to have gotten half a scoop of chips not a handfulnnwhat are these fish bites also nnif this was north canterbury you would get double this amount for half a scoop and a fish bite would be the size of those 2 combined and not just mainly batternni’m appalled won’t be coming back if this is all you get! normally i would have leftovers!

We purchase the pork & chips and each time the chips portion gets less. Once the guy called and said that they ran out of pork and will only have the chicken. I asked will they provide more chips instead. He said yes. When we got home, there was maybe 1 chip more. When I called, I asked if he thought he was funny, and he said he gave us more. I no longer believe it's worth the price they are asking, and the disrespect is not okay as well. We drive 25 minutes to get this meal one way. that's how good it used to be. But not anymore!nI do Not recommend this store anymore.

I ordered one kumara chips and two battered fish. When I open whole bags, they gave me potato chips so I go back to the shop with wrong chips that gave me. I told him about wrong chips and he said “ Are you sure monitor before you paid?” I said “Yes, I checked my order and paid correctly”nAnd he check the monitor previous order#62 and he said “ Are you refund or food?” I said “ I want kumara chips”nnAnd I got a kumara chips after 5~8mins.nKumara chips was not bad. But small amount… and more he never said to me SORRY! about he’s mistake! Waste my time!nnThat's $5.50 kumara chips

So good . I've never had bad Fish n Chips from here. Super hard working crew that do a great job! Very reasonably priced as well as very generous sized portions. Lucky to have this in Halswell.

Good fish. They don't know the difference between normal cooked chips and crispy chips the are one in the same, which is bordering soggy but not soggy. Still good though.
