Really clean oil, delicious perfectly crisped fries and fish. Crumbed specialty fish selection is really nice.nVery friendly owners and impeccably clean cooking environment.nOh and the burgers are really good too!nThe best fish and chip shop in the area!

Good sized portions. Perfectly cooked and not greasy at all. Very tasty and good quality. Great service from staff.nI got battered Blue cod, spring roll and half scoop.

Edit: ordered the gurnard but got a standard crumbed fish. Everything was all good but not happy paying for a more expensive fish just to get the standard crumbed fish.Had  this the other day. The standard fish was paper thin and the Akaroa cod also on the thin side. Chips not up to usual standard as they were hardly seasoned if at all. All experiences we had here prior were much better so hoping it was just a bad day which can happen. Service is top rate though and shop always super clean.

I tend to agree with the reviews that are above 3 stars. The deep fryer baskets had quality welds.
