East Coast Base Vet Clinic shows a very caring attitude, and our toy poodle Toffee behaves bravely every time we visit because the staff treat him with respect and patience. They answer questions clearly, stay calm during stressful moments, and know what they are doing, which builds trust straight away. You feel welcome the moment you walk in, and Toffee seems relaxed, which tells me a lot about the way they handle animals. We are glad we chose this clinic, and I would point any pet owner in their direction because the experience has been consistently positive.
We recently completed a 4-session puppy training with Lauren and Leticia from East Coast Bay Vet for our new puppy, Ruby, and couldn’t be happier. Over the sessions, we learnt everything we needed to know to take good care of a puppy – from teaching basic commands, toilet training, and walking on a leash, to checking her health and preventing illnesses by avoiding certain foods and plants. Lauren and Leticia shared all this information in a clear, enjoyable, and easy-to-follow way. They were always kind and patient with Ruby, and it’s obvious they truly care about the puppies and helping owners achieve their goals. I would highly recommend these lessons to anyone wanting the best start for their beloved puppies.
I have been with the vet service for years. Doctors are very responsible and detailed oriented. Trish checked my ragdoll for annual vaccinations with patience. She also gave practical advice on how to solve new adopted kittens getting along with the resident cat. Very informative and helpful. I recently got Trish ‘s follow up email to check my ragdoll’ status. Appreciate her help and strong sense of responsibility. Thank you! Shelia
We've been in search of our cat since the start of October, posted our lost Coco on the 9th on NZ lost pet register. They failed to post a picture of our cat anywhere online for us to search for her when she was missing. A nabour 2 houses away found her in their back yard and could tell she was ill, handed her in to this vet on the 3rd of October and they had SPCA pick her up on the 4th. We found out on the 18th of November after leaving flyers in our area. Went to this vet to find out where she was. They didn't know which SPCA picked her up. So I drove to the nearest SPCA in Hobsonville because none of the SPCA will answer their phone line. Found out the SPCA in Mangere had her and my poor Coco had passed away due to kidney failure.nThe process of a simple picture and post could have saved my cats life!! We could have had the SPCA operate on her and try to save her. dont care how much it will cost but the fact that they didn't really put their focus on sending information out incase the owner is out there looking for their loved one, really annoys me!!!
I recently visited the East Coast Bay Veterinary Clinic with my cat, who was experiencing some health issues. From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at ease.nnThe veterinarian who attended to my cat was absolutely fantastic. They took the time to thoroughly explain my cat's condition, the treatment options, and the expected outcomes. I really appreciated their clear and compassionate communication style.nnThe clinic itself is well-equipped and spacious, with separate areas for cats and dogs. This was a big plus for me, as my cat can get quite stressed around dogs. The parking facilities were also ample and convenient.nnWhat really impressed me, though, was the clinic's extensive range of cat and dog food, toys, and other supplies. They had a vast array of products from various brands, which made it easy for me to find exactly what my cat needed.nnOverall, my experience at the East Coast Bay Veterinary Clinic was outstanding. The staff were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. I would highly recommend this clinic to any pet owner seeking top-notch veterinary care. We'll definitely be back!
