Massey Heights Veterinary Hospital

A true gem of a vet clinic in the community! All the staff are so, so, so caring, genuine, compassionate and lovely! I have taken both of my cats here over the years, and they have always taken such great care of my babies! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this vet clinic to anybody!

I just wanna say a massive Thank you to the team at Massey Heights Vet. I had my darling cat put down yesterday and the staff were the most professional and compassionate humans ive seen in a long time. Everything was done with such care. Even throughout the year id been taking her there they have always looked after us. They gave me a room to grieve. Talked me through everything and made sure I was okay. Which means the world to me. I highly reccomend the staff & treatment recieved at Massey Heights. There word is good, there team is strong and the know how to look after there customers.

I understand that we arrived around five minutes late for a post-desex check-up and accept that the appointment could not go ahead. That was not my concern.nnMy concern was the way we were spoken to by the receptionist. The interaction felt cold and dismissive, with little effort made to communicate respectfully or assist with rebooking for another day.nnWe are long-term clients and have spent a significant amount of money at this clinic over the years, including a very expensive eye surgery and desexing around five of our cats. We take responsible ownership seriously and always ensure our animals receive proper care.nnWhen asked about full payment, I responded sarcastically in a light-hearted way — of course we intended to pay. However, the response that followed felt overly serious, as if the sarcasm was taken literally, which made the interaction uncomfortable and unnecessary and felt like we were judged a little bit.nnWhat is most concerning is that our cat has now missed a necessary post-surgery check-up, and no alternative appointment was offered. Policies are understandable, but respectful and approachable customer service is equally important. This experience has affected our confidence in coming to the clinic

Couldn't get into our usual vet so we came to Massey Vet Hospital - Dr Amy King was amazing! So kind and caring and really put our nervous Golden Retriever at ease. Would not hesitate to recommend

My call on 26/02/2026 for a booking was absolutely dreadful . The lady on the phone had zero customer service skills and needs serious training on how to speak to people . What kind of service was that? It was a truly appalling interaction . Just an awful experience.
