Chemist Warehouse Albany NZ

Absolutely horrified, as a family friendly store this is NOT OK and at children height too visible for them to see. My child is 8 and he comes into the store with me everytime. Thank goodness he didn’t this time. I am disgusted. I did give the supervisor my feedback and really hope they take action and put this away

I recently visited the store and experienced a disappointing lack of customer service. There were no staff members available on the shop floor to assist with accessing perfumes and colognes. When I approached the counter for help, I was advised to find someone on the shop floor, despite there being no one available. I waited for about 10 minutes, walking up and down the aisles, but no staff appeared to assist me. Ultimately, I left without receiving any help. The store would benefit from improving staff availability and customer service on the floor to enhance the shopping experience.

Very disappointing experience. After for a tester of a perfume, they said they didn't have one and did not seem willing to make one. I asked if I blind buy it and I don't like it, can I return it and the girl serving me said yes. When I came back an hour later trying to return it I was refused and they did not offer any compensation like store credit - which I would have been happy with. They just explained the girl was new. Maybe more staff training is in order.

Horrible experience with the older male pharmacist. He has a Filipino accent. I went in to get a script to treat a uti as I know what one feels like and the symptoms were pretty obvious. After explaining things to the pharmacist, out in public. No private consultation room, no form to fill out. Just discussing my business loud enough for everyone around me to hear. I was stumbling over my words trying to talk about such an intimate issue around so many other people. Make it make sense, I told him that I was taking hiprex which makes your pee acidic wasn’t working well enough, and that I need proper medication to treat the infection. After all this, he tells me that my symptoms are not from a uti, it’s because of my medicinal marijuana?? And tries to sell me Ural? Which makes your pee alkaline. But said I should finish the 10day course of hiprex?? Acidic and alkaline. Google can tell you what those two together will do, if it’s not already obvious. Saying that he has to protect the integrity of the store and kept trying to turn me away when I asked questions. So I made it clear to him that I had sexual intercourse and that I have never had a burning pee sensation and frequent urination from WEED. He couldn’t explain how weed does that and of course it’s not the first time a man has tried to gaslight me into thinking that nothing is really wrong with my body! Went to a different pharmacy and was served by a female pharmacist who took me to a private consultation room, and even apologised when her co-worker disrupted our talk without knocking and told her co-worker she’s busy were a consult right now and to wait till we were done and they were more than accomodating and understood! My medical marijuana is on my medical records, so every medical practice or facility or pharmacy can see this. I’m disgusted by the way he brushed me off and told me it’s not serious enough for him to prescribe me medication for a uti and that I need to consult my GP. How is it not serious enough but I have to see a GP which they only do when it’s too severe. I left chemist warehouse Albany crying, because of his pathetic service. It was unprofessional to say the least.
