I visited this Chemist Warehouse location recently and was quite disappointed. There were a couple of staff members just standing around in a group talking, completely ignoring customers. It felt unprofessional and made it hard to find assistance when needed. I understand people need to communicate at work, but not at the expense of customer service. Hopefully management addresses this so other shoppers don’t have the same experience.

Popped in for a few essentials and ended up getting a walk-in flu shot—no booking needed.nThe vaccine was affordable, and the room was clean and spacious.nnPretty sure her name was Erin P—oh my gosh, she was amazing!nSo gentle, so kind, and she made the whole process feel effortless.nI didn’t even realise the needle had gone in—no pain at all. Seriously, one of the best vaccination experiences I’ve ever had in NZ.nnStaff on the floor are always busy but never too busy to help.nThey always smile and walk you straight to what you’re looking for.nnLove this place :

Very disappointed with how me and my little sister were being “followed” because one of the girls assumed we were going to steal. I always come in, at least once a week and this just ruined the way I now look at yous as a store. Once was a local and will never be returning! Was very embarassed especially because she just kept looking at us. Fix your staff or at least train them up properly instead of following Māori girls around. If she had a problem then kick us out instead of watching us pay for our stuff at the counter.

I recently purchased a pair of swimming goggles from your Albany branch. After using them only once, I noticed that the goggles are blurry underwater and I’m unable to see clearly beyond approximately 30 cm. This makes them unsuitable for swimming, and I believe they may be defective or not performing as advertised. When I attempted to return the product, the manager informed me that returns must be made within 7 days, as per store policy. However, I believe this situation goes beyond a simple change of mind — the product appears to be faulty or not fit for its intended purpose. Under consumer rights for defective products, regardless of the 7-day return window.
