Awanui Labs - Mount Eden (formerly Labtests)

I got a blood test done a couple of days ago, even though there was a bit of a wait, the staff were efficient. The person who took my blood was really friendly and the whole procedure was painless. What really blew me away was how fast the test results were sent to my doctor the next morning. Overall, it was a pretty great experience.

I rang up to make a booking for a test and had a totally abrupt lady on the phone raising her tone to me. I had the forms and wanted to make a booking. She said i didn't need a booking but i have been to the lab twice and been told i need to make a booking for the test. She continued to be so rude with her tone of voice being raised when i asked more questions. I Gave up asking further more. Could have spoken more kindly and been more understanding. Just because she wasn't having a good day doesn't mean she has to pass that on to your patients.

Really efficient - once you go in you scan a card at the front desk, and I was called within 5 minutes of arriving. The actual blood test was painless and super efficient - I let them know I wasn't good with needles and found the experience was pain-free and over and done with in a matter of a couple minutes!

It's great to come across such a compassionate, charismatic, and friendly team. Today's experience was excellent, thanks to Judy Guzon's energy and kindness. She was cheerful, clear, and accurate in providing information, and genuinely concerned about my well-being. I appreciate how she made dealing with a complex health problem and a puncture a satisfying experience. Thank you!

Had a blood test here this morning and the staff was very calm and organised despite it being very busy. The person who did my blood test I think her name was Trish was great, I barely felt a thing!! Very professional team! Thank you!
