Unitec Mt Albert Campus

Excellent campus and library with lots of food options available. Lovely and caring lecturers. So glad I decided to study vet nursing here.nJust one star less as Unitec should have their own website instead of using Moodle and the online library access with logging in all the time and lots of research articles not accessible no content available needs improvement!

Honestly have to say the worst experience at a uni that I have ever experienced, they have little care for your wellbeing and mental health if it's gonna lose them money. Was literally pushed to almost suicide and self harm by a couple students and they did nothing, just dragged it on and I was treated like I'm the one in the wrong, absolute bull honestly, horrible treatment form the lectures and don't ask them for help cause they won't help you and will just string you along so that you pay more. Would not recommend was the worst experience ever, the people who harassed me were rewarded whilst I was punished.

I have studied at Unitec Institute of Technology back in 2015-2016. I have completed my level 4 Certificate in Communication and Media Arts. I loved the staff. The international students office is very helpful and the experience as an international student was amazing. Specially when you are coming from different countries and background.nnThe University is very considerate of your circumstances and is very tolerant of the cultural diversity. They make you feel at home. I felt I have found a home at the Mt. Albert campus. I still to this date misses the the warmth of my lovely lecturers specially Antoinette Wessels was the best teacher one can ask for. She was always willing to help us understand the topics with ease. I took two of my classes with her one was Writing well and the other one was Communicating now.nnIf you are going to join Unitec Institute of Technology then remember you are in good hands the teachers are just exceptional. Especially the Business and Communication department.

I do believe that the unitec is the worst college in NZ because unitec sells his students who do not pay for bill on time to a collection agency. Unitec even does not inform these students before selling them to collection agency. So just reminding yourself to pay for your bill to unitec otherwise have to pay more.
