White Cross - New Lynn

It’s almost comical how tragic the situation at White Cross New Lynn is. No doctors available, no response to emails, and it’s impossible to book an appointment with any GP.nnI emailed — no reply.nI called — the call center hung up on me.nI went in person — reception was closed from 2 p.m. onwards, and they couldn’t even be bothered to try a simple accommodation, like issuing a blood test referral.nnCompletely unprepared, poorly informed, and with reception staff showing nothing but ignorance and sarcasm. Truly sad how much this affects patients who rely on their services.

I know people often only review when experience is bad so I think it’s only fair to say when it’s good. Yes the wait was long, very long but I would expect that at any A&E. Just here to say that the staff were all lovely. Very friendly, compassionate, competent and working as hard as they could to get through the patients quickly and thoroughly.

For enrolled patients the online booking system is atrocious. 4 times I've tried to book my infants vaccinations here and told to choose a time only to be called and told the time I'd chosen wasn't available. No confirmation is texted or emailed so I'm unsure if the last appointment is confirmed and can't get through to them on the phone to double check before I request time off work.nWill unfortunately be changing GPs

Probably the best experience I’ve had at an urgent care. We were there with my 22 month old son who had a high fever. The staff including the nurse and the doctor took excellent care of us and we didn’t feel rushed.nnAlways a wait with urgent care and I was pleased that a little baby that arrived after us with a rash and a fever was put to the top of the line and seen as quickly as possible.nnThe pharmacist there was also very friendly and knowledgeable.

Went here and saw both the doctor name: AP and nurse B at White cross. Both really helped me with my issues and it calmed my anxiety big time. I was really scared about my situation but knowing that its common and that it was just going to take time to adjust made me feel better. Wait time was 90 minutes which I thought was reasonable for a place like this. Thank you again
