Awanui Labs - Royal Oak (formerly Labtests)

I have been going there quarterly for my regular blood tests as well as one offs. Never had to wait long. I found Staff friendly and helpful.

I’ve been here a handful of times over the last few months & can say each time has been a positive experience. The staff are fast, efficient and friendly. They are busy and understaffed but they keep a positive attitude and they ensure that your blood test is quick, easy and as comfortable as possible if you don’t enjoy blood tests like me. I have a needle phobic teenager whose anxiety accelerates when having blood tests. Our phlebotomist on our visit was super amazing with her friendly, calm and slightly humorous demeanor that ensured the best experience for something extremely uncomfortable for my son. Sadly I don't remember her name but I am appreciative of the wonderful service provided.

I always go here for blood tests after my doctors appointment. The staff are nice & caring. I'm a bit needle phobic but they usually do a great job. Great location.nnThe annoying thing for blood tests now is the electronic request forms. They are such a pain because when you show up at the collection centre, you dont know if your form is still valid &/or on their system. If there is no form; it is a waste of everybody's time.
