Had the best time here. Lots to look at, great snacks, really enjoyed the planetarium show and the chance to view the night sky with the telescopes. Keen to try to go back when the Zeiss telescope is open!
Entry is cheap so that's good not as big inside as I thought it was going to be.nStill worth a trip if your into your astronomy.

Visiting Stardome Observatory & Planetarium was a highlight of our trip to Auckland. The planetarium shows were fascinating and well presented, offering a great mix of entertainment and education. The visuals were stunning, and the narrator kept everyone engaged, from kids to adults. We also enjoyed the interactive displays in the foyer and learned a lot about the stars and space.nnThe observatory session was amazing — we got to see celestial objects through the telescope, which was a unique experience. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and patient in answering all our questions.nnIt’s a perfect place for families, couples, or anyone with an interest in astronomy. Highly recommend for an educational and fun day out!
