Second time I have stayed at the Atura as a single night layover, each time has been great, customer service is excellent, food is excellent, rooms are pretty standard but clean and warm and very comfy mattress and has all the essentials. only issue can be is the parking as it’s very limited so if hotel is fully booked would be a hassle to find parking but lucky each time I have been parking has not been a issue. So if you want a one stop shop that Is good rooms, good meals and breakfast definitely the place to stay
What a delight it has been to stay at the Atura Hotel Wellington. Free $25 food and bev voucher plus a drink voucher were a generous offer, making my stay incredible value for money. Was upgraded too which was a lovely bonus. Vibrant, modern restaurant and bar area. Staff kind and friendly. Room pretty standard but clean and comfortable with everything you need. Found a coupon park right outside too!

I stayed at Atura Wellington with my friends for the All Blacks vs. Springboks game and was very disappointed. The lady at the reception was extremely rude, unwelcoming, and unprofessional. Despite booking three rooms, we were made to line up individually for keys, and the service throughout was poor. Although we paid over NZD 370 per night, the experience was worse than what you’d get at a budget hotel.nnMy room 508 was tiny, uncomfortable, and lacked basic toiletries. We were granted a late checkout until 12:00 PM, but the next morning we were still called at 11:00 AM and told to vacate immediately, with threats of extra charges.nnBreakfast was also substandard — by 9:00 AM there was no bread, juice, or hashbrowns left, and nothing was restocked. At checkout, the same dismissive attitude continued, even sighing when asked to store our luggage.nnOverall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, and far below the standard you’d expect from a Rydges-affiliated property.
Was here for one night on Saturday, the service was excellent. The restaurant and bar was just as good, a nice place to relax and unwind. The rooms were a little small, but had everything i needed for a relaxing evening. The Dyson fan was awesome at heating the room to the perfect temperature.
