Excellent! Stayed for one night and this place was great. Good size rooms, comfy beds good size bathrooms. Breakfast was also excellent - very good selection and good quality food constantly being topped up. Well located so within walking distance of all the mains areas. Lots of restaurants and bars all within 15 minutes walk.

Stayed for one night at the hotel. There was no valet parking available even though it was only 2pm and we were told to find on-street parking but we'd have to move our car every two hours. The room was a reasonable size and clean with a comfortable bed. The kitchenette was cramped and hardly usable. The room was a disabled-access room which is fine but the shower was very poorly designed so you ended up with water all over the bathroom floor unless you only let the water dribble out of the shower. The buffet breakfast had a good range of food of reasonable quality.

Rating this place as a four to five star hotel is an underestimation. Definitely with 6 to 7 star rating. Being my first time in New Zealand the staff were friendly, helpful, and outgoing. The suite we booked was overwhelming with comfort, cleanliness, and spacious. The breakfast buffet is mind blowing and filling. We got our monies worth and much more. I will definitely book here again anytime I come back to Wellington. Thank you Rydges for making my 2017 Christmas epic and memorable.

Absolutely fantastic! From the service, to the rooms and facilities - Very impressed! Thank you Rydges Wellington, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

King suite with balcony room doesn't have water views like the photos suggest. Balcony has no furniture and is too small to sit out on. Very pricy for limited services. No valet parking available as there was an event at the stadium nearby and is offered on a first come first serve basis but the hotel won't advise if an event is on during your stay. 40 min walk to hire car drop off and no taxis available. $4 bottle opener in room, no real free/available crockery provided. Food was sub-par especially considering the price. Overall disappointing stay - we won't be back. Will stay elsewhere.
