We had a fabulous stay in a spacious corner room with stunning views over central Wellington. The room was warm, comfortable, and well-appointed, and the on-site amenities were excellent. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We especially appreciated the wide hallways and thoughtful layout. It felt open and inviting, not cramped or overcrowded like so many modern hotels. A truly enjoyable experience!
We really enjoyed our stay here! It was a fantastic spot for families—comfortable, welcoming, and well set up for both kids and adults. The staff were amazing—super friendly and helpful, and they gave us great tips about what was happening around town, which made a big difference to our trip. The location was also excellent—close to everything we needed, but still quiet and relaxing. The team went out of their way to make us feel at home. Highly recommend, and we’d definitely stay again!
Good location, central to shops, waterfront & train station. The room was quite small but adequate for 2 adults for 1 night. Price was very affordable & the breakfast buffet was one of the better ones I've had. The pastries were very fresh & delicious. Will definitely stay here again.
Stayed at ibis Wellington. Was really taken aback by the staff when we were checking in at night. No introduction made, no explanation on what is what and where is where. Service was not good.nRooms was even worse, looks so dirty and so many stains. And the whole concept, very dated. Best for this hotel to go for a full renovation.nLocation was the best thing as its located to the places that i need to go.
Great experience here. The hotel is conveniently located for shopping and food. I love that they offer a variety of pillow options for your comfort. Another bonus is the laundry machines on floors 1 and 9. You will need two $2.00 coins to operate each machine. Make sure you contact and coordinate parking prior to arrival as the car park has very limited spots for a fee that you pay the hotel. I overlooked this and had to pay for street parking for one night before we could get a spot in the car park.nThe rooms are nice, clean, and spacious. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed playing cards and drink service down in the lounge/lobby area.
