Welcome to Gilmer Apartment Hotel Wellington. We are located within the golden mile of Wellington's shopping district near Lambton Quay.

Story

It is 5 minute walk to the waterfront, 15 minute walk to Te Papa (the National Museum of NZ), The Westpac Trust Stadium and Victoria University. As we're in the centre of the CBD, it really is handy to everything! This includes the restaurants, entertainment venues and exhibition and conference venues. Gilmer Apartment Hotel features a great range of facilities for your convenience and enjoyment. Guests can feel confident that our apartments have been designed with security in mind. Security key tags for after hour’s access are provided. Apartment features include a fully equipped kitchenette, En suite bathroom, Sky TV-6 Channels, ironing board and iron, and, unlimited high speed wireless broadband internet is available to purchase from Freedom Internet. We originally booked a different "hotel" which turned out to be awful, so we made a last minute booking at Gilmer instead. It was such a welcome change! The staff was friendly, the room was large and bright, and it had a washer/dryer. It was only slightly more than the first place but was exponentially superior. Super close to everything including multiple parking structures.

Descent apartment near downtown Wellington. It is still 15-20 min walk to downtown though. Sparkling clean. The housekeeping crew do a good job keeping the place shiny. My only complaint is that our room is so tiny (indicated in their booking website). There is very little space in the room. Other than that, this is a good accomodation place.

Great location close to the city centre and has kitchenette and washing machine which are useful for a longer stay. No air conditioning though and is noisy with the windows open.

Clean room with everything you need. Laundry, shower, kitchen. There was no air conditioning which wasn't a problem for us. It was in downtown so it was really convenient. Parking is pricey but it is expected in Wellington.

Great location for visiting Wellington, friendly snd helpful staff, clean room with good facilities, would stay there again.
