World class service!nnAs someone who struggles a lot with blood tests My veins are small & hard to find, and I tend to faint most of the time, I can only sing praise for the Pathology team here.nnI was treated with care, the nurse found my vein, very easily, and it was all over in a matter of seconds without any pain.nnThis is the first time a blood test has been this easy for me in 30+ years.nnThank you for being so good at your job and making my whole week easy!
I had a truly exceptional experience at the Royal Melbourne Hospital Emergency Department last night. I was brought in by my husband around 9:05 PM due to mild chest pain. From the moment we arrived, every staff member we encountered treated us with the utmost care, professionalism, and kindness.nnI was taken inside within just 10 minutes. The medical team acted quickly—ECG, blood tests, and X-rays were done promptly. What stood out the most was how compassionate and gentle the nurses, doctors, and medical assistants were. They explained everything clearly, in a calm and reassuring way, which helped ease my anxiety.nnMy husband was also allowed to stay by my side, and the staff communicated with him warmly and respectfully as well. The facilities were spotless, well-organized, and the room I was transferred to was in excellent condition. Everything ran smoothly, and I felt safe and well cared for throughout.nnBy around 2:15 AM, all necessary tests were done, and I was discharged peacefully. Words are not enough to express my gratitude to the entire team at RMH. Their efficiency, empathy, and professionalism made a stressful situation so much easier to handle.nnThank you to every single staff member at Royal Melbourne Hospital for the outstanding care you provide. I recently experienced one of the most painful moments of my life and was admitted to the Emergency Department at Royal Melbourne Hospital. From the moment I arrived, I was met with kindness, compassion, and professionalism that went far beyond my expectations.nnEvery single person—from the triage nurse, emergency doctors, and nurses, to the entire surgery team—treated me with incredible care and respect. They weren’t just medical professionals; they were like angels guiding me through one of the hardest times of my life.nnOver the course of my stay, I underwent three surgeries. I want to sincerely thank everyone involved—from the reception and administrative staff, emergency department team, surgeons, anaesthetists, surgical nurses, theatre staff, ward nurses, pain management team, physiotherapists, pharmacists, and even the cleaners and meal service staff. Every interaction I had was filled with warmth, empathy, and genuine human care.nnWords cannot truly express how much your support meant to me. I will never forget how each and every one of you made me feel safe, heard, and supported during such a vulnerable time.nnThank you from the bottom of my heart
I had to take my Mum in to hospital to get a pacemaker put in and she had to stay in hospital for 2 days. From the time we entered to when we left we had the best experience! This is an exceptional hospital. Everyone was so helpful from the cleaner who stopped to give us directions ! to the beautiful staff member who help us in the lift take a short cut, the amazing nurses who went out of their way to make my mum feel comfortable but also asked me if I needed anything. The doctors were the best they did an amazing job with mum. And her room was constantly cleaned and even checked by the team to make sure it was done to standards. We have been to most of the public hospitals in Melbourne and in my opinion this is the best one the service is excellent!! Every step was explained to us and we always knew what was going to happen next! Thank you keep up the amazing work you all make a difference
