I was lucky enough to get emergency surgery here, back when they still had an emergency department. Very professional place. Highly skilled surgeon. Very good service. The rooms would do well with a bit of renovation walls could be painted, and furniture could be updated. Otherwise, very happy with the care provided here.
I had my first child with C-Section over here . The doctor, maternity unit staff and all the midwives are really really helpful. Specially , Ross, Ginni, Clare , Ivanka ,Jackie and Nicole. I spent around 6 days in the hospital and staff was very helpful. They teach us as I am first time parent each and everything in a very detailed.nHighly recommended. parking is paid , but we can grab parking passes from the reception which is very good.
I just recently had an unplanned surgery at this hospital. I was rushed in quickly and from start the finish the hospital was fantastic. All the nurses, receptionist, doctors and surgeons were great. They had a lot of training nurses on their final year who also did fantastic : I was taken care of and checked on every 2 hours. Was extremely happy with my stay and everyone i encountered.
Very disappointing experience with this pediatric doctor Rubina Hameed. I waited over an hour, and despite being right next to her office, she claimed no one was there without even calling out the patient’s name. Communication with my child was poor, with irrelevant questions and excessive talking that felt like an attempt to extend the appointment time unnecessarily. The doctor lacked warmth, efficiency, and understanding of how to deal with children. The kind reception staff acknowledged the issue and offered free parking, which was appreciated after just a frustrating visit.
I recently had a major operation, and unfortunately, my overall experience was quite disappointing. While two of the night nurses were genuinely lovely and caring, the rest of the staff seemed abrupt, lacking empathy and care, which is concerning given their role.nnDuring my six-day stay, basic needs were often overlooked. I had to rely on my sister to argue with the nurses just to get my bed sheets changed, which never happened until she intervened. The cleanliness of the room was also questionable —I had to request for the floors to be cleaned on day five, and throughout my stay, no one came to clean the toilet or room floor.nnTo add to the frustration, I wasn’t offered a shower at any point during the six days. It was only when my mum asked on the fifth day that I was finally assisted, and even then, the experience felt rushed and inadequate. The nurse used barely enough soap, and I was left with dirty bed sheets that weren’t changed.nnOverall, it wasn’t the standard of care you’d expect from a private hospital. The few positive interactions with some staff didn’t outweigh the lack of attention to essential needs. I believe better care could be found elsewhere, perhaps even at a public hospital!nnOh.. the photo… it’s been like that for 3 days. The nurses come in and keep throwing things in it. Are we in a 3rd world country? Seriously….!!!!nnAvoid if you can
