St Vincents Hospital is really good. The service was top notch. The doctors and nurses and admin staff were also super kind. The nurses made sure every small details were checked twice. I feel like i have been very well looked after. I had 2 procedures and honestly everyone was so nice. The room was clean with a nice view of the Melbourne skyline especially during sunrise and sunset. Excellent choice of food. felt safe and in good hands. Thanks to everyone at St Vincents Hospital. You all are amazing, caring andni am really thankful.nn3rd July 2024
The room which was given to us just after the c section , was not having enough lighting.nThe main atrocious thing was the buzzer did not work. And we got to find out that on day 2. I struggled a lot for 1.5 days. Very good midwives, though. Food was good.nn1.5 rating for the midwives. Not for the stay.
Submitted as an emergency patient on the ED for an open fracture arm. They treat me right away with no fuss. The nurses there are very nice, assuring, and accommodating, and the doctors know what they are doing. Overall, all the staff on the St. Vincent ED I met are all so friendly, respectful, and helpful. Bless you.
P.E.T DEPARTMENTnThe day before my appointment, I was asked over the phone to arrive earlier than my original appointment time of 1:45pm to now 1:15pm because of difficulties I highlighted to them previously. It was suggested to arrive earlier to avoid longer wait times for a doctor to arrive with ultrasound equipment because last time it was an extra 40 mins wait.nI arrived at 1:10pm and informed reception of the request to arrive earlier.n1:50pm comes and I’m still waiting at reception and I’m furious! This is disgusting!nnThe public system is TERRIBLE! No one cares about your time and the life you rearranged to get there ON TIME. Twice now this test has taken over 3 hours to do because of sheer incompetence. I will never return here for a PET scan.nEven after waiting for a Dr to use an ultrasound to find my vein, it still didn’t work and I was poked AGAIN! Last time I walked out with 3 pokes so I guess it’s an improvement
My best experience in hospital. All the staff super nice and professional, nurses and doctors constantly checking on me. I came into emergency department with flu and my body temperature was over 40 and they put me back on my feet in two days. Thank you so much St. Vincent’s team, this is definitely the best hospital in Melbourne
