St Vincents Hospital is really good. The service was top notch. The doctors and nurses and admin staff were also super kind. The nurses made sure every small details were checked twice. I feel like i have been very well looked after. I had 2 procedures and honestly everyone was so nice. The room was clean with a nice view of the Melbourne skyline especially during sunrise and sunset. Excellent choice of food. felt safe and in good hands. Thanks to everyone at St Vincents Hospital. You all are amazing, caring andni am really thankful.nn3rd July 2024
The signs all over the place saying no video or voice recording should be a warning, there's a reason the hospital is plastered with those signs. It helps cover them legally when they have been filmed or recorded doing the wrong thing! Best to ignore those posters and voice record at minimum!! I'm not saying all the nurses,doctors and security are abusing,neglecting putting their patients at risk but some are!! The nurses and doctors are over worked and understaffed, most likely burnt out too, but your a hospital with a duty of care to your patients. That duty of care was failed to so many patients over the past 18 hours. Record record record. I wouldn't bother complaining to them, just post the abuse from staff you see on social media :nUpdate, got home to read my discharge summary. Thank you!! I no longer need to put in a complaint that will be covered up, because according to pegal representative I now have the evidence I need to sue.
The room which was given to us just after the c section , was not having enough lighting.nThe main atrocious thing was the buzzer did not work. And we got to find out that on day 2. I struggled a lot for 1.5 days. Very good midwives, though. Food was good.nn1.5 rating for the midwives. Not for the stay.
Admitted as an emergency patient on the ED for an open fracture arm. They treat me right away with no fuss. The nurses there are very nice, assuring, and accommodating, and the doctors know what they are doing. Overall, all the staff on the St. Vincent ED I met are all so friendly, respectful, and helpful. Bless you.
I was recently in st Vincent’s in the neurosurgery department and l have only the highest praise for all of their staff for the care l received whilst in there.nNothing was too much trouble for the staff and l always felt looked after.nThis place is magnificent in my eyes as are the people.nDarrell Howard
