**Update 02/02/2018** Just had our second child at St Vincent’s Private, once again all the staff have been brilliant. Thanks!

We had our first child here, very impressed! Intelligent, caring and supportive staff who go the extra mile. Good clean facilities. Double bed was a bonus for breastfeeding/bonding sessions with bub. Better than expected food, I even received red wine with dinner. Fast wifi, handy for uploading photos of your newborn or watching Netflix while they sleep. I would definitely recommend going Private over public if you're planning for a baby.

I and many family members have been patients...of St Vincents private for over 40 years.....
I Recently had orthopedic surgery..staff on 6th floor were fantastic. ...the meals offered were not at all in line with the cost of my stay...everything served in awlful plastic....everything cold....everything disgusting. ..ate nothing for 2 days...stop serving public hospital food...in a private hospital. ...We pay a fortune to have private health fund...to be given 5star service and food....Sooooo disappointed ..
Why do maternity patients get fine dining and others get dog food....sooo wrong on sooo many levels....change your ways
Go get some food service ideas from Epworth Hospital. ..which serves excellent food...how can patients get well eating the slop...St Vincents private hospital food

This is a very nice hospital all the staff there  
 are very nice and friendly. The hospital is very clean and modern. There's also a very nice clean cafe on the ground floor with really nice food there. My wife loved it there!

Definitely coming back to this Hospital! 💙

I’ve had 3 surgeries at St V’s since 2009, two of which were major, and to my mind it is the best hospital in Melbourne.  The care is exemplary from intake to discharge.  Highly recommended
