I truly enjoyed the Adelaide Film Festival, thanks to its excellent facilities and wonderful team.
We went to see the Kransky Sisters perform. They are a superior act you must make it to see them when they next come to Adelaide.nThis is a versatile Cinema. They have a range of movies showing and often intersperse some live performances. A small theatre, wonderful staff and a well stocked bar. There is also a great coffee shop next door. Great parking near the Cinema too!nEnjoy your visit, not far up Kensington road from CBD.
Burnside Council is to be congratulated on the support for and renovations of this historical theatre. An excellent venue for viewing and comfort. They show top films and the live musical performances are great fun with talented artists.
For a social work event, we hired out this theatre to watch the 2002 Lilo & Stitch movie. It was so stunning inside, and a very enjoyable experience.
Just saw Guillermo Del Toro's Frankenstein. The previews played well enough, but then as soon as the movie started, for the first five minutes, the curtains draped over the screen. The sound was way too low and the lights were kept on. Eventually they sorted it out, but they didn't restart the movie, just let it play on. Congratulations on getting every single thing wrong, when those were the only 3 things you had to get right sound, lights, curtains! People just want to sit in a dark room and watch a good movie and you guys can't even competently provide that experience without immediately screwing everything up at the very moment the movie begins! Embarrassing.
