Had a very poor experience at Palace nova prospect this week. It is almost $10 more each to go to this so called fancy cinema. The person at the counter sent us to the wrong cinema. Yes I understand its printed on the ticket but if you are told Cinema 7 you go there. Lucky we realised early enough to not miss the start.nWhen we finally headed to the right cinema we had to step over overflowing bins and popcorn boxes at the door to get in the door.nWhen we sat down the seat next to us had rubbish on it. The whole place was filthy!nI though this cinema was a bit more boutiquy than others but it seems this is not the case.
Prospect Palace is a very comfortable cinema complex with a good mix of films , food and drinks. However, it bothers me that in spite of repeated feedback, the lighting, when patrons enter a cinema prior to the film session starting, is inadequate and dangerously low. Older people have a great deal of difficulty going down the steps to their seats which are often hard to find. I am surprised that their health and safety requirements are so low.
Phenomenal cinema that exceeds expectations with large seating and small number of seats per screen making for an exclusive experience without the costly price of a “Gold Class” ticket. The facilities are very well maintained so you can use the rest room with out fear. Great selection of wines and beers all reasonably priced. Purchased tickets to an advanced screening and would definitely come back again.
