I really enjoy visiting Event Cinemas — the theatres are clean, the seats are comfortable, and the sound and picture quality are always excellent. The staff are generally friendly and helpful, and I appreciate the variety of movies and session times on offer.nnHowever, one thing that could be improved is the length of time spent waiting before the movie actually starts. The amount of advertising and trailers can feel excessive, making the wait too long and a bit frustrating at times. It would be great if this could be reduced, so that the movie starts closer to the advertised session time.nnOverall though, I do love the cinema experience at Event Cinemas and look forward to visiting again.
Awesome cinemanGreat staff.nI actually forgot my ticket i had purchased prior but I showed them my bank account and the payment and I remembered the seat number they were happy with that and they let me in.nFriendly staff and awesome sound ,seats comfortable
Always see movies here. Easy to park. Good seats. Clean. Can walk down jetty road after. But the best thing is that the staff are always upbeat and friendly.
Lovely quiet little spot with free parking. Movie was great. Comfortable seat. A hidden gem.
Visited recently to see a movie. Hadn't been for a long time, and was looking forward to it. However, on entering we were accosted by a man who was overbearing and asked what we were doing. We were on our way to use the toilet before purchasing tickets. When I replied stating we were going to the toilet he said NO! Then I said we were seeing a movie. He then backed off. He was aggressive and rude. We, therefore, chose not to see the movie there, and went elsewhere. We won't be back either. The place looks dilapidated as well, and with him, sitting there in a booth, ready to intimidate customers, who would want to visit! Very unpleasant!
