Overall this is the a great standard cinema experience. Pop corn was super buttery and very good. Beers here which is good. The lemon Fanta was to die for.
I really enjoy visiting Event Cinemas — the theatres are clean, the seats are comfortable, and the sound and picture quality are always excellent. The staff are generally friendly and helpful, and I appreciate the variety of movies and session times on offer.nnHowever, one thing that could be improved is the length of time spent waiting before the movie actually starts. The amount of advertising and trailers can feel excessive, making the wait too long and a bit frustrating at times. It would be great if this could be reduced, so that the movie starts closer to the advertised session time.nnOverall though, I do love the cinema experience at Event Cinemas and look forward to visiting again.
really nice popcorn, good sizes. the chairs are comfortable, especially if you are tall there is good space between the rows. free 4 hour parking next door with movie ticket
I love this place and was so glad when I heard it was being saved!!.. Im hoping all the same staff are staying on as, i always found them really friendly...always excellent at their work and service but also helpful with movie advice too...Ive enjoyed every single visit to this place..it has a much better atmosphere than many theatres I found...the overall interior design creates a nice ambience!
Car park was easy access. Friendly and professional customer service at this cinema today. My husband had free 2x movie tickets on his phone gifted that needed redeeming. One worked the other didn’t. A young man serviced us at first and then Natika Cunningham took over and went above and beyond on finding a solution to make it work and we ended up with 2x tickets. Thank you Natika and to your colleague Mathew W for your wonderful service today
