Hoyts recently reduced the points that VIP members earn their most dedicated patrons. The corporate BS line used, was “developing the value offered”. How would it be better value when rewards members are getting less than before? change was also quite well hidden. Contacted support to ask why this is. Ticket raised then no reply. They care only for parting you from your money and don't even have the decency to be transparent when they actively make things worse for the customer.nnThey also charge a fee to book via the app. A fee for using a service that reduces congestion at their counter.nnCinema itself is fine. Prices suck as per every cinema. Staff are fine. Seats are good.
Love the way you can order tickets etc on the computers before you enter, they didn’t seem to have drink and popcorn bundles though. Theatre was small and quaint as was the screen. The only reason the low stars was that we went to the first session on a Sunday morning and the toilets look like they hadn’t been cleaned since the previous day… one would think it should be done at the end of each day minimum
Horrible experience at the D Box cinema seats. Don't waste your money if you are over 6 foot as you are forfeiting comfort for the experience. Sitting through an entire movie without neck and head support for me is not worth the chair movement syncing with the movie moments.nnI am 6'3 and sat uncomfortably throughout Anaconda. To sorry my head, would've meant watching the ceiling.
Great experience at HOYTS Tea Tree Plaza.nWatched “Avatar”recently with the kids in 3D XtraSupreme and it was awesome — huge screen, great sound, and the 3D was super immersive. Seats were comfy and the whole experience felt easy and family-friendly. Perfect spot for a movie night
