I’m not sure if the renovations are complete but in its current state the cinema is not very mobility-friendly. A long distance to walk with windy corridors and not to mention the confusion when trying to leave after hours. I have a feeling I used an emergency exit (ad advised by an employee) which I wasn’t supposed to. Some better signage (50 more steps until ticket booth) or seating wouldn’t go astray.

Me and 2 of my friends went for a night show. There were hardly 10 people there in the cinema hall to watch the movie. I was having an Energy drink and my friends were having coffee. A man in the front row went outside and complained about us saying we were smoking. We are non-smokers. A staff came and spoke rudely and said she will kick us out. We gave her every proof and also asked to do our breathing test but still she was being rude. Oh come on girl, we haven’t had a smoke all our lives. Just because we are young boys and a man complained doesn’t mean we are guilty. Hoyts, If this keeps happening, somebody might sue you someday.

We went to see coco with our children, our experience at the food counter was not good at all as they were ripping people off by selling coke in coco's glasses without letting them know that if they want to they can have it in a plain glass which is $2 or $3 cheaper. Most importantly, no price information was available of any combos. So situation was that you order something and you are at their mercy to charge you any amount and serve you in an expensive glass without your consent.

Great cinema but would be even better with recliners like the Hoyts at Sailsbury

Hoyts tea tree plaza cinemas would be the worst cinema viewing in Adelaide, terrible seats, expensive food and drinks, poor air conditioning, plus having reserved seats causes the patrons to argue with each other prior to the movies and not a staff member to help, might as well lock the doors and hand out clubs.
