Stayed here for 2 weeks and I tell you, it’s the best backpacker experience I have ever had in my life. The staff here were super friendly, engaging. The facilities are great too. If you expect hotel like features, you’d be best to check into a hotel, otherwise this place was on a great standard for a backpacker! Happy travels!

Loved my stay here. The staff were incredibly friendly and the facilities were relatively clean. They organize a wide range of activities, from pub crawls to national park tours. Mix all of that + cheap alcohol = ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

RAN away from here DISGUSTED by the racism and prejudice shown to me and a friend. This is how it went: I and a friend ( USA citizens, of South Asian descent ) walked in after a long journey from the north and are not greeted or smiled at,at all. We checked online before arriving with a few websites and all confirmed availability. After a look at us we were told that there are no vacancy’s/ beds and to go across the street to a motel. Hearing this I had a feeling something was up so I walked out and 2 minutes later called the same font desk where I spoke to the same girl who said there were vacancies available for the same day and asked if I wanted to make a booking. After hearing this I walked back in and confronted her about it to which she had a “practiced” responses of “ something just opened up , I was waiting on a girl to confirm her stay”.... what an utter bunch of lies. Even then she did not offer the rooms to us. 
This place is truly despicable in the way it so obviously treats people. I do not recommend that anyone stays here due to the racist practices this place encourages.

Best hostel experience I’ve ever had. Decent rooms, good amenities, awesome game room. But more importantly all the staff were amazing; Taylor, Tom, Steve, and the owner Brad all made an effort to make sure my stay was enjoyable. Would go back in a heartbeat!!

Great hostel if you're looking for a fun time with a young, international crowd. Lots of activities offered, free laundry and cooking options. Two tram stations away from the city center but rides are reasonably cheap and there are free shuttles running every hour. Cleanliness is acceptable but not a benchmark.
