Me and my partner stayed here for 6 nights :) Good value for the money we paid, however we were not happy with the room that we originally got mainly due to the smell, especially in the main room we didn't even want to sleep in it. We went to the reception to talk about this and the manager was really nice and understanding. He gave us an upgrade to another room which was so much better! Customer service was excellent and the apartment had everything we needed. The biggest downfall would be that the motel is in urgent need of redecoration or renovation, as it is so outdated and old :( Overall, we really enjoyed the riverside views, the pool and the location was also perfect being close to the beach, tram station, shopping and restaurants!

the place was much better than I expected, big apartment, clean, and good location near the beach. Pool was amazing next to the river! A bit of an inconvenience to get to it though as new tiling works were being done next to the pool area when we stayed, but looked like they were finishing up when we checked out.

It's important to be honest and here it is:

A low cost is no excuse to skip on hygiene. Upon checking out the lady at reception wanted me to pay cleaning for getting WATER BASED lubricant marks on the bed duvet cover. I actually awkwardly had to explain my bedroom activities and defend that it's an expectation that ALL bed sheets including the duvet are washed between guests.

Guess what...they are not she explained and that they now didn't have a clean one for the next guests..I explained it's their responsibility to have clean sheets between guests and i shouldn't have to explain that I had sex in bed. For all we know a years worth or more of people had slept on that cover without washing.

Also the dishwasher was inoperable, the decor nothing like the photos, no air con, broken reception via intercom out of hours. Noise from leaving the balcony door open (to not suffer heat exhaustion) was like sleeping on the Gran Prix. 

Don't skimp on price, and get something of quality, hygiene and with customer service that doesn't treat you as a criminal for getting lubricant marks on a dirty unwashed bed cover.

Room 5 level 1 was disgusting damp mould under the sink. The smell was shocking. Outdoor area on the balcony was old rusty seats and chairs. 
Bathroom was disgusting. Was moved to another room and was alot better condition. Not alot to do for the children tennis courts you had to pay $10 to access. Games room 3 items not child friendly. Entrance to the pool was closed off and no access for wheelchairs.
