My husband had a hernia repair surgery at this hospital and we were very happy with the care given by all medical staff at each stage of the process, during his overnight stay. Although, the nurses do seem busier than they should be! Of particular note is the food. It makes the hospital stay SO much more pleasant with the luxury of Room Service and beautiful, fresh food.... a fantastic initiative!

Was in for a day procedure and ended up staying over night.  The registered nurses were extremely kind and compassionate.  Lovely staff throughout.  Hospital was very clean and bright.  Had a private room and I cannot complain about one thing.  They now have room service set meals but wow what a choice. From fillet steak to smoothies, herbal teas to Danish pastries and egg bennys with what ever you want with it.  Totally blown away.  The food was 5 I’m going back end of March and honestly…. It’s the first time I can actually say, “I can’t wait!”

Review of St John of Subi Hospital - Partner's StaynnMy partner recently stayed at St John of Subi for ALIF surgery, and unfortunately, it was not a positive experience.nWhile the nurses were wonderful and caring, it was clear that the hospital relied on inexperienced agency staff in the Spine ward, which created a sense of uncertainty and inconsistency in the care provided.nnAnother disappointment was the food. Every meal was cold by the time it arrived in his room, which is would not be expected for a private hospital.nnThe overall experience was made worse by a difficult discharge process. We were told to follow up with the surgeon for discharge papers and a medical certificate, but the whole process felt unorganised and left us with unanswered questions.nnFor a private hospital, it felt as though the focus was more on profit than on providing the quality care patients deserve. Given these issues, I would choose another hospital for any future surgery.

I actually have to say that the care is pretty good here. Much better than at any public hospital I’ve been to other than Joondalup Health Campus. I got my wisdom teeth out last year and everyone was really nice.

I had my baby delivered here. The nurses and midwives are really helpful and patient. During my labour, the midwives were extremely patient and had given me a lot of support.nThe food was AMAZING in the ward.  They even prepared candlelight dinner for the new parents :
