I spent one night in the Short Stay Unit after surgery for a fractured fibula, and the care I received was exceptional. Everyone I encountered—nurses, doctors, and support staff—was friendly, helpful, and reassuring throughout. A special thank you to the surgeons for their skill and professionalism; I felt in very safe hands. I’m truly grateful to the whole team for making a stressful experience so much easier.

I would like to thank all the compassionate and hardworking staff of Charlies especially ED nurse Lauren, and all the other nurses in OBS Ward and all the doctors, including registrar Will, who sorted my case the past few days. I’ve had horrible anxiety on top of my health issue and all of the staff were helpful and professional. Thank you so much. I hope to never come back, however.

I have been attending SCGH Dermatology department for several months over a two year period. During that time I have met many amazing and caring people from my specialist Professor Chan to the receptionists. However, two of the nursing staff stand out as especially caring, supportive and knowledgeable. One is a wound care nurse, Penny Demartre, the other is Jackie unfortunately I don’t know her surname. Both nurses go above and beyond to ensure that I am treated as an individual and partner in my treatment.

Having just spent 6 days in Surgical Ward G61-   I absolutely have to acknowledge the incredibly talented and dedicated nursing staff and on- call doctors who gave over and above the expected care- despite being constantly busy.nThose who made a difference are:n*Nurse Matilda- a complete ray of sunshine  who treated each and every patient as her only one- she was born to this career!n*Nurse Imogen, Nurses two Emma'sn*Nurse Simon,  Nurse Breen*Dr Lydia Hill-Almeida such grace! and caren*lastly but importantly - James  a Star- from catering - his extremely friendly and polite nature was exceptional and outstanding-!nTHANK YOU to those above and anyone else I may have missed - my apologies.nTo work under pressure and deliver excellence is amazing-nYou are more than appreciated!

I spent two days in the Orthopaedic Ward at SCGH following knee surgery.  I cannot speak highly enough of the staff's care and kindness.  I would especially like to thank Professor Carey Smith, who performed my surgery. From my initial appointment through to the surgery and post-operative care, he was incredibly reassuring about the procedure and my recovery. Thank you all for your excellent care.
